Dimitri Vangelis and Wyman are back to present us with a preview of their next gem with Jonny Rose “Pieces of Light”. “Pieces Of Light” emphasizes Jonny Rose’s superb vocals, accentuating the topline and melody. This is a return to their more traditional big room sound with some elements of the harder sounds we heard in “This Is Your Life“. Watch for the release on October 1st and the future is bright for these young rising stars with some great remixes on the way.
Events, Preview | Ferry Corsten — Full On @ Roseland Ballroom, 8/31
Posted by Spice on August 20, 2012
Electric Zoo is right around the corner (more on that later), and even if you’re going to be raging at the festival for all three days you’re going to want something to fill the hours between 11 pm and 4 am. Trust me. Fortunately, the good people at MadeEvent have obliged all of you night owls by keeping the party going long after the shuttle pulls out of Randall’s Island each night, and while there are plenty of excellent options to explore, there are a few parties in particular that we’re especially excited to attend. On Friday night, we’ll be hitting Ferry Corsten’s global blow-out event, Full On, which he is bringing to North America for the very first time since its Rotterdam debut in 2007. Objectively speaking, this is kind of a big deal — Full on Ferry has taken over dance floors everywhere from Ibiza to Bangkok (including London’s O2 Academy this past New Year’s Eve) and features festival-quality production and energetic B2B sets. With support from Gabriel & Dresden, Michael Woods and Anjunabeats rising star Audien, it’s going to be a night you won’t want to miss.

Preview, Progressive House | Dirty South & Alesso Ft. Ruben Haze – City Of Dreams (Preview)
Posted by Middy on August 19, 2012
Whoa, so this just happened. The official preview for Alesso & Dirty South’s collaboration “City Of Dreams” just dropped with the release date coming in just 8 days. If you follow Alesso & Dirty South on twitter, you know about their jokes at the expense of each other’s mom and sister respectively, so this collaboration was only a matter of time. This will be the anthem of the end of the summer with “Don’t You Worry Child” and will get some serious airtime at festivals like Electric Zoo. Listen to the preview below or the radio rip above from EDC NYC to hold you over until this massive release.
House, Preview | Swedish House Mafia – Don’t You Worry Child (Radio Preview)
Posted by Mach on August 10, 2012
After the success of the Milton Keynes Bowl, delivering the great trio’s final release, we now have a much better preview to tease our ears with. Not to be that guy, but this tracks instrumental is scary similar to “Save The World.” (Waits for target to be painted on the back of head) Being their last release, this track will undoubtedly top all music charts anyways. One thing that stands out more than anything is the lyrics that Swedish House Mafia have laid over from John Martin. If anything, vocalists are the reason that no one really seems to care how similar instrumentals are to previous releases. Look at David Guetta, he has practically made a living off of that production style.
I know I strongly come off as a hater of Swedish House Mafia, but I am just disappointed that Gemini seems to never be releasing his remix of “Miami 2 Ibiza.” My second defense is that this last release I love listening to way more than “Save The World.” There is no official release date yet, but myself and many will over play previews until that great day.

Electro, Preview | Dog Blood – Next Order (Teaser Video)
Posted by Spice on August 8, 2012
Well, well, well.
Now this is some interesting news.
According to a number of sources, Sonny Moore and Alex Ridha — better known as Skrillex and Boys Noize — are joining forces in a mysterious side project dedicated to creating “300% break-acid-tech-noise.” The more I think about this particular pairing, the more it makes total sense; both possess a dark, grimy and hard-hitting aesthetic and both maintain an uncompromising commitment to their respective musical visions. Check out the above teaser vid if you aren’t fully convinced that these two will make a totally awesome team, and keep your eyes peeled for more details — both Skrillex and Boys Noize have been taking to Facebook and Twitter to gin up interest. The duo’s debut EP is set to drop on Boysnoize Records and OWSLA on August 13th.
Electronic, Glitch, Preview | Haywyre – Draw The Line EP (Preview)
Posted by Mach on August 6, 2012
Haywyre is on FIRE! After just releasing his third successful EP of 2012, he already has a forth EP not set for release. The previews available for the upcoming EP, “Draw The Line,” sound incredible, making me even more impatient for its August 28th release. The title track absolutely blew my mind, Haywyre’s composition has always been incredible, but this track feels like he really pushed the limits of the line that is being drawn out. There is no stopping this guy, his last release “Infinite” stormed up the charts on Beatport. It feels like only a matter of time before Haywyre’s popularity explodes.
