Pop, Progressive House | OLWIK Spearheads Progressive Pop Movement with ‘Fight No More’
Posted by VMan on December 9, 2015
There must be something in the European waters because 19-year-old Swede OLWIK just came out with another smashing tune. Less than a month ago, he introduced a brand new style he classifies as “progressive pop” with a remix of Halsey’s “New Americana.” The track quickly hauled in 100,000 plays and has received an abundance of positive feedback. OLWIK recently signed to Linc Music under Sony Music Sweden and has now released his first original with them. The record, “Fight No More,” spotlights the timeless soulful vocals of Terri B!, who has been previously featured on “Blind Heart” by Cazzette. It boasts his newfound signature style and is incredibly catchy to jam out to. Be sure to stream the tune on Spotify!
Pop | Tundran’s “Kimono” Is Today’s Feel Good Anthem!
Posted by VMan on December 9, 2015
It’s hump day, and Tundran’s “Kimono” has sex written all over it, that intro will make you feel a certain way, I feel like I’m on cloud 9 at the moment, all while getting my shoulders rubbed. Granted it’s my birthday, I wouldn’t expect anything less, but in all realness, nothing makes me more happier and fulfilled, than great music! Not bad at all for their second release ever, no wonder PRMD picked up on this, the Swedes are always two steps ahead when it comes to pop music. This is a must listen!

From touring with The Chainsmokers, working on the new Bieber album, having a multitude of HypeM chart toppers – Steve James has accomplished at the age of 17 what most producers don’t in their entire lifetime. “Renaissance” combines beautiful pianos with energetic brassy sounds that make it a dance floor hit that you’ll have on repeat. This song is a straight up pop hit. Fueled by L.A. producer & DJ Caroline D’Amore’s deep house bounce and cool and confident vox by National Anthem, “Come To California” has everything you need! For starters the vocals really reminded me of The Killers, a band that I really miss, so that was cool. On top of that, D’Amore’s strong production style will have you moving your feet by the end of the song, guaranteed! Pick up the new single through Casablanca Records here.

For his first release via Atlantic Records and Nice Life Imad Royal (formally known as just Royal) has unleashed an awesome new single called “Troubles” that I can’t get out of my head. On his Cycles EP the up and coming producer proved to us that his production ability wasn’t his only strong point, his voice was just as potent of a weapon, and on this release it may even be the major focus. I’m incredibly excited to see what’s in store for Imad Royal, because “Troubles” is nothing short of a radio hit!
