Deep House | Get Deep With Vice’s “Stay” Remix

Posted by on March 31, 2015

We don’t post many DJ Vice tunes. Why we haven’t up to this point is beyond me. DJ Vice brings us an incredible deep house slapper that’s perfect for those late night drives. Remixing Monarch’s Stay”, which is one of One Republic’s side projects, DJ Vice brings an incredible deep house sensibility to an already great record. How this has only 33,000 views should be a class C misdemeanor. He really did something here. Tune in and turn up. This is a serious tune.

Fresh off the success of his latest, ‘Hope’, Beauriche is back with the talented Creamers to release ‘Disco Ish’. If you have any sense in music you’ll know on first play that this is in the running for being one of the hottest underground tracks of this summer. This has beach summer vibes written all over. Like the name illustrates, expect disco funk but with a twisted future vibe. I’m going to stop talking now and let the music speak for itself. Enjoy!

Hot off the heels of his last club banger, “Remember House,” EDX has returned with “Want You.” The Swiss-based producer, who has cemented his legacy as one of the progressive greats, has been known for his exploration within the different subgenres of house, and “Want You” perfectly balances his new house stylings with his defining progressive sound. Deep, dark undertones lay the foundation for the track while EDX gives the track a different vibe with uplifting melodies and synth stabs that are an ode to his progressive house days. The track is set to be released on April 13th via HK Records, so make sure to get your copy when it drops!

Watermat has an ingenious tick that only comes to light once in a while. His trilling horn slashes in his breakout single, “Bullit,” brought a soundscape unheard of before, and the French mastermind is back with a new single, “Frequency,” with Dim Mak regular TAI. Again with a bag of surprises, the producer team take the groovey melodies of deep house and infuse them with blaring synths to deliver a track that seems to take on a genre of its own. “Frequency” will be out in full on March 30th on Spinnin’ Records.

Sean Glass takes a trip back to a time full of afros and lava lamps when crafting his inaugural track – a remix of Robert Delong’s “Long Way Back.” His disco influence isn’t as saturated as other producers, but he tastefully and intricately integrates it into a deep house backbone to really flaunt his past experience in the musical landscape. See for yourself with the stream above! Watch out for the remix to be released on Glassnote Records on March 31st.

Runaway Buggin

Galantis hit “Runaway” (U & I) gets a very different twist from its original sound as DOSVEC mashes it with Justin Martin’s “Buggin” and the end result is a bass heavy tune that gets your ass moving the entire time.
