Abstract Hip-Hop | Premiere: Kaytranada – Hilarity Duff
Posted by yabishcic on October 16, 2013
This is an instrumental affair. Kaytranada has been making appearances in the music scene left, right and center since his first major remix of Janet Jacksons’s ‘If’ back in 2012. As one of the biggest up and coming artist’s for 2014, he stacks this beat with heart-heavy bass and a great array of sounds to please your ear. It’s everything you expect/want out of Kaytranada which makes it so damn good.
‘Hilarity Duff’ is the B-side of ‘At All’, the new single from Kaytranada out now.

Abstract Hip-Hop, Chill | Bedroom Beats #1

FREE DOWNLOAD: Mosch – Coelho (Simp Remix)
Above is a cool visual that is mixed well into the remix by Simp. Watching it makes me wonder… if we lived in a dimension where time was set to 18,000fps, would we even know the difference? haha, trippy. Anyways, ’til this day I’m still constantly jaded by having a musical taste that revolves solely around simplified beats that are no greater than hip-hop instrumentals. Twisted vocal samples, mingled with subtle sonic arrangements that aren’t so repetitive is all I need. That said, let’s hear some.
A superb new track from Affelaye, previously known as Joe Martin. All I know is that his productions are by far some of the cleanest, well put together beats I’ve heard. Listen below.

Forgot I had this drafted, but nonetheless been listening to it for days now without getting bored. Vancouver native Blue Version’s sweet country-esq beat has a nice nostalgic 90’s feel to it.

Abstract Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop, Videos | Marc Goone – Yung Walter White (prod. Aaron Zuckerman)
Posted by J_Salzer on February 8, 2013
Aaaaand Marc Goone is back with his best video to date. Marc is easily one of the most creative artists I’ve ever had the pleasure of being acquainted with. When I began watching and tweeting about Breaking Bad, Marc and I bonded over our love for Walter Jr. and when he told me he was making a video based on the hit series, I was ecstatic. Without a great track, this video would be nothing, and on that score, Marc delivers. The beat, produced by Aaron Zuckerman, has a creepy, edgy feel that Marc takes over with a catchy hook and hard verses. Check out the video above and check out Marc and I’s hilarious banter on his twitter.
Abstract Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop, Rap, Videos | Earl Sweatshirt – Chum (Explicit) [Video]
Posted by J_Salzer on December 4, 2012
Nothing better than hearing everyone’s favorite large lipped Samoan rapper(Actually, I think he’s the only one.) Earl’s progression as an artist is what’s most impressive about this for me. I enjoyed Chum when it came out, it had a dark, errie feel, much like Earl’s previous works. The video matches that eerie, dark feel to a tee. The whole thing is filmed in black and white, which is becoming overused, but nevertheless Earl shines in the dark on this one. Check out the video above, and download the track on iTunes if you’re really feeling it.
Abstract Hip-Hop, Exclusive, Hip-Hop, Rap, Videos | Marc Goone – Hunger ft. Futuristic (prod. by Aaron Zuckerman)

Marc Goone, one of my favorite up and comers, is dropping his first exclusive video with Fresh New Tracks. We’ve posted his music before, yet have never had the opportunity to have an exclusive release. I really think Marc is on to something with his music, and Aaron Zuckerman has crafted his last couple of beats perfectly. I was discussing with my brother, a Potholes in My Blog writer, how opinion based music is. I really enjoy Marc’s music, but any one of you could hate it, and I think people have a hard time accepting that other people could enjoy something that they don’t enjoy. But my grievances against internet bullies can be discussed on a later date, with a full, multi page post. But for now, check out the awesome video above, and follow Marc on Twitter, you won’t regret it.
