Future Trap | Corrupt Augments French Montana’s “No Stylist” For A More Dance-Primed Crowd

Posted by on October 18, 2018

Corrupt’s remix of French Montana’s “No Stylist” maintains the vibe of the original while offering a fresh perspective. By adding elements like heavy yet melodic drops, the danceability of the track is dialed right on up. Distinctly drawing influence from genres like trap and future bass, the tasteful placement of vocal chops and brass stabs augment the energy levels in a way the original lacks.

Corrupt, also known as James Caudle, in a short time saw the strong growth of his productions, strings of tour dates, and artist support. Caudle has obtained the support of acts such as The Chainsmokers, Tiesto, The Disco Fries, Don Diablo, 3LAU, Alison Wonderland, and Two Friends, all while performing at countless high-profile clubs and festivals – including two consecutive years at the prestigious Electric Forest. Corrupt has nailed down several looks that typically take artists years to get, a green flag in one’s career to say the least.

Chill, Future Trap | 10Digits “Rebirth” Album Marks A Year Of Solo Success

Posted by on October 17, 2018

Canadian artist 10Digits, who masks his identity behind a visually inspiring layer of digitized art, has been on a single releasing spree in 2018. He has followed the new tunes up with a full-fledged album, packed with multiple genres and singers on almost every song – the album feeling more like a complete work and less like a string of singles stitched together.

10Digits has had a gradual rise over the last several months, one of the most notable elements being his music video for “Fool For Love” which went on to reach well-over 1 million streams. The dude crafts his pieces until they genuinely stand out and reaps the benefits. This surely isn’t the last time we will see 10Digits, perhaps his true name and face being revealed by himself or a determined journalist in the near future, keep an out for him.

Future Trap | 10Digits & Holly Winter Team Up On Fresh Future Bass Original “Money”

The catchy and richly layered “Money” by 10Digits provides as much positivity as it does rhythm. Floating atop the captivating synthesizers are the soulful vocals of Holly Winter, through which the listener is reminded to be rich in love, rather than in material objects. With all the good vibes, this track will have no trouble heating up the mood of those who listen.

The face of 10Digits is hard to come by. In contrast, his music and the iconic appearance he’s donned are becoming more recognizable daily. Considering several notable collaborative projects, the accumulation of millions of streams, and the placement on charts like Spotify’s viral charts, 10Digits is becoming a notable name in the scene.

Future Trap | Paperwings Team Up With August And Kuur On Sony Release “One Last Time”

Posted by on September 3, 2018

Paperwings have been active in 2018 to say the least, their remix of Miguel’s “Sky Walker” remix leaves you questioning what was better: the original or remix. More recently, the duo have taken their focus in a more unique direction, linking up with August and Kuur for a release that eventually made it’s way into Sony’s hands.

“One Last Time” takes a familiar future bass-influenced sound and funnels it through an emotional, minor chord feel. The experience is as charming as it is meaningful. The single’s juxtaposition of string guitars in some sections of the track and melodic, but heavy hitting drops in others give’s the single it’s edge.

I haven’t heard this song since I was like 10 years old and it’s really bringing back some memories. Ashur flipped Destiny’s Child’s early 2000’s Grammy nominated single “Say My Name” into a future trap hit that shows off his clear skillset to take songs to the next level. In the past the Florida bred act has dropped a handful of sick remixes, but this one in particular may just be his best work to date thanks to its slow but epic build that finally kicks in on the chorus and goes full sicko mode (shout out Travis Scott x Drake). Stream the new remix above now by Ashur, it’s the perfect song to get you ready for the weekend!
