Fresh off the plane from New York, New York, the Daytrip boys have arrived in Kingston, Jamaica. The production duo has returned with their second song, “Drop It”. The direction is undoubtedly different than their first smash “Flight 43”. There’s no use in trying to rationalize it, “Drop It” is a turn-up anthem, and a damn good one at that.
77Klash, Lil Silk, and Yung Burrakami are all called in to add their respective energies. Lil Silk’s verse is difficult to match, however, from start to finish Daytrip ensures their listeners a backdrop for any shenanigans they’ll be getting in to for the night. I’m going to be perfectly honest, I have not listened to any of Lana Del Rey’s latest singles, I’m just not into her, but a few remixes have presented themselves to me, and this one in particular by Y//2//K trillifies the CT boarding school taught diva’s latest release “Utraviolence,” as if her and her producer downed a whole bottle of lean before recording it. I guess a little chop and screw can make anyone sound like a G, even Lana. For real though, this remix bangs so sit back and enjoy! This is a must listen and a must download!

Pusher’s “Feel U” track is fresh, no doubt about it! A trustworthy music tastemaker put me on to this dope track just the other day, which incorporates glitch, trap, 90’s R&B, and old school video game sounds to create a retro funky nostalgic energy, and I’ve been intrigued ever since! Let your ears figure this one out, and keep an ear out for that Britney Spears sample “hit me baby one more time” buried in the beat (it’s there). Dubstep, Glitch, Trap | CloZee – Falcon EP

This EP is too cool to pass up. CloZee is always kilin’ it with glitch madness, and “Falcon” is nothing short of awesome. This track has a bit more of a dub feel to it than I’m used to from CloZee, but it came out awesome. The saucy melody is unbeatable, and the progression from slower dub into a glitch breakdown is clearly a display of CloZee’s skills. This EP also includes a bonus trap remix from Dropout Marsh that is also top notch work. Dropout Marsh’s version of “Falcon” is nostalgic and full of melancholy vibes.
