Nicky Romero’s ‘Protocol Presents Miami 2016’ compilation featured cuts from artists including Tom Tyger, Deniz Koyu, Blinders, Nico De Andrea and also Corey James & Teamwork, who conjured an instrumental mix of ‘Make The Crowd Go’. Their instrumental mix, upon release stormed up into the Beatport Top 10 Electro House positions, and now, on April 11th, Protocol is unveiling a vocal mix of ‘Make The Crowd Go’ as a solo release which now features Kobi The Alian providing a rap topline to compliment those funky beats already embedded into the original this is the perfect club-banger.

It’s pretty cool to see a project launch. With No Funks Given, they did so with their original “Geeked Up” that has been released as a free download. This duo of California producers is taking an unconventional route with an anti-industry attitude, and with their music they offer up sounds that aren’t what you’ll find everyday on Soundcloud. “Geeked Up” is more than just a trap single, as it shifts shapes throughout its three and a half minute span to keep listeners on their toes. They’ve already promised more music soon, and despite launching the project with this original, they’ve uploaded a remix of a totally different style for a competition they are enrolled in. After you check out “Geeked Up,” head over to Wavo to listen to their “Sour Patch Bounce” remix. PS, as much as I love the Mac Dre picture, that’s not the real album artwork. Check the Soundcloud description for it!

Future Trap, Trap | Tibe Makes Trippy Trap for “Prism”
Posted by VMan on March 1, 2016
Tibe isn’t a familiar name in my book, but on “Prism” he really went it. The future trap bounce is large on this one and it’s laced with tripped out samples and sounds all over. There is a eerie vibe that lingers on the song, giving “Prism” a even more chilling effect once the drop kicks it. Keep an eye on Tibe!
Bass, Chill, Trap | Electric Mantis Kills It On “Daybreak”

Majestic Casual is one of the most looked at Youtube channels known to music for the past couple of years, and their quite a taste maker co-sign if they upload your music so it only made sense they moved onto bigger things. Majestic Color is the newly started record label by the MC team and last week they came out with the first piece of music on the imprint, “Daybreak” by Electric Mantis and it was astonishing. With their not even being a lead vocalist on the song, the record still captures your attention in full form until it’s end, due to the change of pace and vibe over the course of “Daybreak”. Electric Mantis is going to really blow up this year, I’m calling it now.
