Feels like forever since the last time I enjoyed a song with some Japanese-Pop influence, never imagined it would be this addicting, sugary Drum & Bass. Listening to this track reminds me of the first time I heard Mord Fustang’s “Lick The Rainbow”, it’s obviously not the same style but the way the progression and melody play out together puts me into an incredible euphoric instrumental trip. This is just one of those tracks that never stops giving.

Grandtheft just hit 50k fans on Facebook, so he decided to give away this very tasty freebie. He has become known for his remixing prowess, notably alongside Diplo, or on Mad Decent itself. Generally Madeon songs are best left alone, but here Grandtheft does just enough to make it a viable trap remix, while still keeping the genius of the original in tact.

Ateph Elidja is the newest member of the Bromance Records family, so it seems appropriate that one of his first official releases is a remix of label head Brodinski’s “Gimme Back The Night.” The original was dark and brooding to begin with, but this spacey and supremely industrial treatment takes it to another level. The Parisians are definitely not slacking in the creepy department these days, but I’m totally digging the vibes.

It’s finals time over here in the land of the Swedes but I’m taking a little coffee break to share some music that’s been helping me knock out all my work. Oregon based producer Electric Mantis brings us this delightful electro-trap track appropriately titled “Flips And Flops, Drips And Drops,” perfect for those currently listening to artists along the likes of Flume and L D R U. In fact, I have to credit one of the hottest music blogs on the internet right now for bringing this track into my life – that being Djemba Djemba’s Soundcloud Stream. At the beginning this song makes out to be just another twerk remix with claps on claps on claps… but once the synths kick in, this remix goes from twerking to trapping. Such a good collaboration of the two genres and use of the sample. Don’t get me wrong – I have a strong love for the original, but the way that TWRK has redone the edit, completely new way of listening to the song without getting bored!
