Dubstep | Ellie Goulding – Figure 8 (Feature Cuts Remix)
Posted by Jess on December 4, 2012

Hot off his charting Beatport debut “Rage Values”, Feature Cuts is back with a brand new remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Figure 8”, one of my favorite songs off her Halcyon album. Combining the Ellie’s beauty and power of her vocals on the track with his own equally powerful production, this remix ranks up there as one of my favorite remixes done of her (and there have been many). Read what Feature Cuts had to say about the track and grab the free download below.
“Ellie Goulding has an amazing voice, and the lyrics of this track really meant something when I first heard the original. As always I’ve tried my best to create a mental journey that is custom to the listener. I hope you enjoy the contrast of beauty and raw power mixed together.” – Feature Cuts

Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Featured | Seven Lions – Days To Come (Affinity Remix)
Posted by Mach on December 3, 2012
The only track in the “Days To Come” remix competition I logged in to vote for. Coyote Kisses did a decent job, but I felt their work was mediocre, along with the rest of the top ten. Affinity just doesn’t have the same pull with fans as the rest which is why I feel this track hasn’t hit the top ten…yet. This has to be one of the best remixes in this competition. Affinity might as well be Seven Lions’ long lost brother, his work on this remix is paralleled to the original, but with enough of his own masterful work to make this remix his own. With only under 20 votes, I am hoping this helps Affinity become a true contender for the top ten. He undoubtedly deserves to be there.

Dubstep | CruciA – Air Raid
Posted by Mach on December 3, 2012
CruciA is a fairly new artist to me. He made his first FNT appearance on last weeks R Rated and since then I have noticed a bit more of his work around. I really enjoy the different styles he works with on each track, especially this new freebie of his. CruciA jumps around a bit on this one, and has an awesome vocal arrangement. I am a sucker for the drop on this, he killed it.

Dubstep | Modestep – To The Stars (Genetix RMX)
Posted by Mach on November 30, 2012
Genetix is a God of all that is dirty and messed up about this world, isn’t it great? After watching countless live videos of this remix since the originals release about a year or more a go, Modestep gave this away as a freebie. Talk about TGIF. Now for some reason there is a slight little glitch in our player around 2:14. Don’t let that scare you away because I have checked the download and it is pure. Enjoy.

Dubstep, Mashups | KOAN Sound vs. Will Smith – Sly Fox of Bel Air (James Scott Bootleg)
Posted by Spice on November 30, 2012
Happy Friday FNT nation. I don’t normally fool around with mashups but this one is too good to pass up. For maximum fun tonight, treat your friends to this sweet bootleg that mashes KOAN Sound’s “Sly Fox” with the legendary anthem that is the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme. Skrillex has been known to toy with Will Smith’s verse in his live sets, but he hasn’t thought of this particular combination — “Sly Fox” is the perfect swingy backdrop for this 90’s classic. Dubstep | Deltron 3030 – Upgrade (Figure Remix)

Jesus, it appears I need to change my pants now. Leave it to Figure to cause someone to poop their pants. Talking to Nammo who just had done a show with him said that Figure was probably one of the coolest guys he has ever met. Despite all the shows, fame, and money, Figure keeps it real. Figure’s music shows that he is no where close to selling out and will continue to rape our ears into bloody submission. Well, that was a tad bit graphic.
Dubstep, Trance | Elliot Berger Ft. Thallie Ann Seenyen – Hanging On
Posted by Mach on November 29, 2012
It is hard to get enough of this perfect genre blend. Trance and Dubstep were meant to be together because the child they produced is one of the most incredible sounds to come into EDM. Elliot Berger went all in with this original and Thallie’s vocals were just the icing on the cake. How do you like your emotions served? I prefer mine with smooth bass.
