MitiS is and has been unbelievably incredible. He owns House and destroys Dubstep, melodic and heavy. This melodic Drumstep tune rocked my world. MitiS is preparing for the release of his upcoming EP, “Open Window”, and it is truly a treat to receive a remix such as this before the release. The melody is incredible, MitiS never disappoints his fans. His “Open Window” EP drops June 18th.

Haywyre just kicked off his Song Per Week Project and so far so… awesome! I have been saying it for over a year now, Haywyre is one of the most underrated Glitch-hop producers out there. His skills in composition and production surpass most around him, leaving you absolutely in love with almost everything he puts out. This remix of “Eye of the Tiger” is unlike anything you will hear.

SizzleBird hit 8000 followers on Soundcloud, so in celebration we get one of the most beautiful melodic Dubstep tracks you will listen to all week. The song progresses deep into your soul, SizzleBird knew how to send music straight through you with this one. This is so incredible that I can’t even articulate the words to describe how this can make you feel. It is truly a work of art.

Dubstep, Review | Roughmath – Buzzkill Remixes EP (Ft. Archie Cane, Jarvis, Koven, & Skit)

I have been a huge fan of Roughmath ever since his days as Noir, but today I bring you an awesome conglomerate of remixes of Roughmath’s last EP, “Buzzkill”. Kicking off this remix EP is Archie Cane. I wish he would release more tunes because his style is rarely seen. The into has a bit of a Garage feel to it, but the drop is filthy per usual. My first listen to Jarvis’ remix left me on the fence, it may have been where I decided I would start listening to it. After my second listen with better placement, the track finally came together in my ears. Jarvis’ defined epic for me.
Koven on the other hand catches your attention no matter where you click play. He is still one of the dirtiest up and coming bass producers out there. His drops are full of some the heaviest progressions you will find and Maksim taking point on the vocal turned out to be a match made in Heaven. Last but certainly not least is a remix from our friend Skit. Lately Skit has been pushing out some beautiful Hip-Hop and R&B infused bass tracks that have been revolutionizing how I view each genre. His remix of “Cold” however takes us back through his skills as a Dubstep producer, to say the least it is quite impressive. Roughmath assembled one of the best Remix EPs I have heard in Dubstep in a while. Maybe this will set an example for others to come.

This remix does not sound like you think it would. First off the vocal barely play a role in this, however, it’s nice to see someone was smart enough to reuse the classic stringed section from this marvelous nostalgic tune. I know Joker for his next level Dubstep, but I was not expecting this remix to be an infusion of Hip-Hop and Deep Dubstep. Most interesting part about this remix, Joker made it in 20 minutes… now that takes skill.

Free tracks from Zeds Dead are always a great thing, especially when you can tell they have been testing out a few new bass synths. In a way I was sad that they didn’t get Omar Linx to drop at least one dope verse halfway through this. They have worked together so many times I just feel like when I hear Zeds Dead’s new tunes, Omar Linx will be featured. He’s not, but that hasn’t kept me from taking this sick track for a test drive. This is just another great melodic dubstep track from the duo.

Dubstep, Preview, Trap | Prysm & Toast Face Ft. Hyper MC – Ego (Distantt Remix)

Trap and Dubstep, Distantt created one of the gnarliest blends I have heard this year. The first drop is extremely satisfying, but that second drop leaves you with amnesia. Nothing else really matters at that point but bass and lasers. My mind is completely blown. Distantt’s remix is set to drop on June 17th through Dirty Duck Audio.
