This is my second time this week posting about Fractal – meaning he’s really been killin’ it. This melodic yet grimy dubstep track with some input from his partner in crime Au5 is just awesome. It’s one of those songs that gets stuck in your head on repeat all day. The catchy vocals sound fantastic laced with the melodic growls. Fractal has definitely got a new fan on his hands! Check this one out on Beatport!

Dubstep | PRFFTT & Svyable – We Are ft. Crywolf

Posted by on August 14, 2013

“We Are” by PRFFTT & Svyable (pronounced Proffitt and S-viable), (mixed and mastered by Crywolf) is on point. This is melodic dubstep done right. These artists working together was bound to make something great happen. The vocals easily float over the beautiful chords. It’s profoundly ear pleasing all the way through. Not to mention it’s free!

Dubstep | Luxe Laredo feat Honey LaRochelle – No Man’s Land (R/D + iLL Gates Remix)

Posted by on August 14, 2013

This remix is absolutely fire. R/D and iLL Gates’s remix of No Man’s Land blew my mind. It’s melodic, it’s glitchy, it’s funky and it’s bass filled. My favorite part is the break down at 2:06. The vocals are cut up in a way that I can’t help but bob my head to. Mad props for this remix, R/D and iLL Gates. You can download it for free on their website or purchase it on Beatport, iTunes, and Amazon.

DO SOMETHING

Dubstep | Au5 – Metronic (Fractal Remix)

Posted by on August 13, 2013

Fractal’s remix of Au5’s single Metronic, released to Atom Recordings on August 19th, is intense, technical, and full of the dark sounds one looks for in some heavy dubstep. Fractal’s take on the song is a little more bouncy than the original, and mixes a few other flavors in besides hard hitting dubstep. It’s easy to tell that a lot of effort and attention to detail was put into this remix. You can listen to the stream here until it’s released!

I couldn’t help but also post Au5’s original track as well. It’s absolutely sinister in the best way possible. Enjoy!

Dubstep | London Grammar – Wasting My Young Years (Sound Remedy Remix)

Posted by on August 12, 2013

I just couldn’t pass up posting the new Sound Remedy remix. This track is exactly what you’d expect from Sound Remedy, featuring melodic synth pad chops and beautiful vocals. This track is really a standout because of the emotion packed into it. He doesn’t alter the vocals much from the original, and it’s incredibly smooth all the way through. It’s also out for free!

Bass, Dubstep | Unlimited Gravity – Source’s Orchestra

Posted by on August 7, 2013

After hearing this new Unlimited Gravity single this afternoon I couldn’t help but share it with you. It was hard to categorize this song, so we’ll just call it bass music. The strings are absolutely mesmerizing and flow perfectly over the wobbling bass lines. Each drop takes a unique turn. This is one of those songs I could see being perfect for a long drive, especially because of it’s length. Source’s Orchestra is a single off of Unlimited Gravity’s album called “Unlimited” that will be released on August 27th to 1320 Records, and I can’t wait to hear it!

Dubstep, Glitch, Preview | Audeka – Dice N’ Flow (Disprove Remix)

Audeka - Dice N' Flow (Disprove Remix)

Caliber Music has had a few quality releases now in addition to Kursa’s new “SDBN” EP. Disprove shows off his funky bass skills, taking you on a wild ride. His style makes me think of older KOAN Sound tracks, with a heavy bass and a synth that sounds like a heavily plucked guitar. This remix is set to release with a remix from Spwee on August 24th.
