Bass, Chill | Moving Castle Leader Robokid Returns With “Fishing Lessons”
Posted by VMan on June 23, 2018
For starters this music video is amazing (WATCH HERE), but a little wacky. Moving Castle alumni member Robokid hasn’t dropped any new music in a hot minute, so I was hyped to see this new drop. Not only did “Fishing Lessons” come with a new audio track but there is a hilarious video to go along with it. Sticking to his standard form, L.A. producer/vocalist/musician Robokid creates some ambient future pop that will make you nod your head. Enjoy!
Alternative, Chill | “Lady of the Night” by DUX Is Quite a Hybrid Single

DUX’s music is a funk infused organic alien funk that just feels great. I know, that’s kind of a mouth full, but this dude is killing it! “Lady of the Night” features Vocals by Stan Taylor, live Drums & Percussion by David ‘Triple D’ Diaz, Guitar by Matt McCalpin and Kyle Barnett and a funky brass arrangement via the help of Alekos Syropoulos and Gave Steiner. I really love how he adds an electronic back bone to a funky pop tune. Listen to “Lady of The Night” above. DUX is on a roll!
Chill, Future Funk | Kaptain Continues Unveiling His EP With “Perspectral”
Posted by VMan on June 20, 2018
Kaptain has been someone that we’ve followed for years and he always to manages to outdo himself. From transforming his sound to what it is today while continuing to hone his creative abilities, he’s a true testament to artistry. It’s been a while since we’ve had an EP from him and since the release of the first single “Your Every Move” we’ve been excited for what’s to come. The second piece of his EP, The Practice of Letting Go, is here in the form of “Perspectral” in collaboration with guitarist Jarrod Guaderrama. Simply put, it’s among his best work and if you haven’t dove through his catalog before, you need to.
Chill, Trap | HEWAN Get’s Sexy On “Strip For Me”
Posted by VMan on June 19, 2018
This record is straight up seductive. The R&b and trap blend is a dope combination that highlights HEWAN’s vocals and the hip-hop infused trappy production of Ekzaktxl. While HEWAN is a new artist on the rise, she’s got the pipes and song writing structure of an established musican who has been on the scene for a minute. “Strip For Me” isn’t a classic love ballad, but it’ll help you take it to the next level with your loved one/partner, I promise. Check it out now above!
Chill | Sergioisdead and Hyara’s Tap Natural Feel Dance Pop Sound In “All Of The Things”
Posted by VMan on June 10, 2018
Focusing on elements that clearly breed results is always a fair path to explore, Sergioisdead’s experience seems to be founded within this mindset – results, in this case, showing themselves in the form of stats (SID having millions of plays under his belt.) With that said, Hyara’s talents are hard to miss; a bubbling, full voice with an actualized expression of clarity and innocence within.
Sergio’s practical dance-pop backdrop paired with Hyara’s flow captures a head-turning sound. Like a strong cast on TV, an in-sync music team can just as well deliver a natural feeling, fluid experience.

Since it’s summertime we’re not surprised at all with the appearance of party inspired tracks on the rise. However, ShiShi manages to pull the rug out from under us with a speaker shaking new addition to his music arsenal, “Give Me Love Ft. Daramola.”
This eastern inspired collaboration that marries electronic production and tropical rhythm in a Major Lazer-esque format, “Give Me Love” is ready for the summer parties and cool nights at the beach, having all the action you’d want for a cross cultural track paired with a global sound. With several years of experience and an unbridled enthusiasm, New York based ShiShi is demonstrating his technical merit with the promise of more tracks on the horizon. Given the quality of this single, you can be bet ShiShi will have fans waiting for more soon.
