Chill | Linnea Schossow Releases Inspired And Warm House Single “I Found You”
Posted by VMan on March 14, 2019
It looks like music talent runs deep in the Schossow family, Linnea Schossow, sister of the popular house artist Marcus Schossow, has not only released her own single but signed it to her brother’s label Code Red. “I Found You” is nothing short of uplifting and positive. The melodic piano chords and smooth song structure delivering an energetic, yet therapeutic house experience that satisfies.
This is far from Linnea Schossow first rodeo – she’s worked for the likes of Mat Zo, Ben Nicky, and many others over the course of several years in music. As a singer, writer, and producer, Schossow’s talents utilized in collaborations and expanded on in general shines like on the long-term and consistent artist that she is.
Chill | Fall in love with Laxcity & EMIA’s new single “Just Try”
Posted by VMan on March 12, 2019
Laxcity is one of my favorite rising producers right now. His album Catharsis blew me away and this year he’s dropped stunning remixes of Alina Baraz, San Holo, Ekali, and Medasin. Now his first original of 2019 sees him team up with EMIA for a gorgeous love balled. “Just Try” features soft synths, EMIA’s angelic pop voice, and creative production. I added this straight into my pop playlist and so should you. Check it out above and pick up your copy here via ALT:Vision Records.
Chill | Electronic Inspired Act Jaguar Dreams Release Acoustic Version Of “Too Close”
Posted by VMan on March 8, 2019
“Too Close,” a single off of Jaguar Dreams successful self-titled debut album, has now received an acoustic overhaul. The new version elongates and dramatized what the original brought to the table, delivering an emotionally-charged and captivating experience that offers a unique perspective into the Jaguar Dreams vision. Since 2018, Jaguar Dreams have released a handful of songs and music videos, some of the most notable being “Just Life” which went on to received 100k plays on SoundCloud and over 20K on the music video – a feat easier said than done. Jaguar Dreams had this to share about the single:
“This song is as much about two people struggling to find each other at the right time, as it is about the struggles of an artist to find their right place in the world. Either way, it’s the story of an unrequited love. When we recorded “Dreaming Sessions,” the rawness and the realness of the emotion this song has was best felt with just Tim and a grand piano. It doesn’t get more personal than that, and when we recorded this single take, we knew we had to share it with you. The EP version is all about moving on, and the power one can feel in doing so, while this acoustic version sets more of a reflective tone, which is also to be appreciated in situations such as these. “
Bass, Chill, Remix | Juuku Starts Off Hot w/ BANKS Flip
Posted by VMan on March 7, 2019
Wow, this remix goes hard! Juuku’s debut release is a massive flip of BANKS single “Under The Table” and it is super dope. Juuku is a new artist on my radar but the music speaks for itself. The slow and gradual build up turns into something cinematic and movie soundtrack sounding. Does this producer score movies when he’s not creating bangers? Nobody knows quite yet but the layers upon layers of gnarly sound really hit home for me here. Stream the new flip by Juuku above!
Bass, Chill | TWO LANES Release Heart-Warming Lowly Single “Back Down (Feat. Kwesi)”
Posted by VMan on March 7, 2019
TWO LANES quickly jumped onto the scene in 2018, which was their first year under the alias. With several singles now under their belt and support coming from a variety of different points, TWO LANES’ “Back Down (Feat. Kwesi)” marks a continuation of their creative sound design and modern dance feel. Much of TWO LANES’ has an introverted indie feel, “Back Down” falls right into this lane, sustained synths adding an almost theatrical drama to it.
TWO LANES have acclaimed millions of plays in a few short months with their deep-seeded releases that always leave you thinking. TWO LANES haven’t shared much about themselves, a few photos here and there and they’ve also shared they are brothers as well. They have reached HypeM #1 three times and have been supported by Sirius XM Chill, Kasbo, Zeds Dead, Trap Nation, Mr Suicide Sheep and many others.

Stickybuds has become a cult favorite within the dance music community, in particular his live performance fanbase is rabid and widespread, a look at his SoundCloud – his most popular streaming channel – showing nearly 1 million plays across multiple Shambhala Festival mixes. That’s dedication. On the production side, Stickybuds is far from underwhelming. His 9-track album “Take A Stand” features dub, glitch-hop, funk, and experimental and collaberations with Burro Banton, Richard Kim, Rubi Dan, Prince Alla, and many others.
