Chill | Thoma Releases Chill Experimental Original Titled “No Resolution”
Posted by VMan on April 11, 2019
Dance music cannot be viewed as one single identity, it comes different style and sizes – being one of the many elements that keeps the genre interesting as a whole. “No Resolution,” a fresh original by new artist Thoma, lives on the fringes musically, producing an all instrumental work that hits the spot. Thoma’s latest single is off of the upcoming album Detriot, set to release April 26th, an experience aimed to expand on the type of world Thoma is already teased through singles. The two making up Thoma, Tristan de Liège (formerly Stratus) and Benjamin Hill (Askanse’s) state their mission in music is to “bring together their creative abilities and challenge themselves beyond their solo efforts.”
“No Resolution” sounds like no easy effort and I’m sure Detroit will be full of crafted quality come April 26th.
Chill | Doe Hadfield Shares What Her New “Fix” Is In New Single
Posted by VMan on April 10, 2019
Doe Hadfield’s “Fix” translates a world to the listener resembling an euphoric, consuming experience through tingly, well-processed vocals and a message that relates. “Fix’s” graceful and fluid nature allows the bare-bones message to sink in easily, r&b and pop sensibilities encountering an electronic backdrop leaning more on the softer side. The lyrics tell a story of desire that’ direct to say the least.
Naturally, “Fix” embodies many of the qualities Doe has build her success on thus far. Doe has charted at #34 on Billboard through writing she has contributed to and, seperately, was labeled “One To Watch” by the UK Grammy Awards. Her many works have been heard across the UK and beyond, her discography seemingly getting re-circulated as her works stand well against the test of time.

Chill | Oli Klok Shares “Never Let You Down” Single, Intro To Music, And More [Interview]
Posted by VMan on March 24, 2019
It’s never to early to start out in music. “Never Let You Down” embodies an untamed energy that’s ready to tackle anything. The pulsing synth work tuned to the pop vocal comes off crisp and clean. The feel-good energy of young Oli Klok built into the production. Oli Klok is a few releases into his alias and shows plenty of potential. His music showcasing it’s own style and vibe with each tune also coming in clutch with a wholesome original feel. “Never Let You Down” fits into the mold of the “Oli Klok Feel” nicely, with more to come on the musical front soon certainly. Oli Klok chats with us about where he started, who his influences are, and more below.
When did you start producing?
Oli: I started producing when I was about 15. I was just messing around for like 2 years but really got into it after that.
What artists do you look up to as an inspiration?
Oli: There’s a ton of artists I admire but the top ones would be Martin Garrix, Skrillex, and Avicii. Garrix is the one who made me want to start making music actually.
Is it hard to finish songs for you?
Oli: Not really. In terms of songwriting, most of the time the melodies will just pop in my head and I’ll record them on my phone and put them on my computer.
What message with « never let you down »?
Oli: To never give up on the people that you love.
What do you hope to accomplish under Oli Klok?
Oli: Besides impacting people’s life with my music, I hope to live from it someday and to work with the producers and singers I look up to.
Bass, Chill | You Need to Check Out Finis Mundi’s New Song, “Right Now?”
Posted by VMan on March 24, 2019
The name Finis Mundi is a new one to me but his latest single “Right Now?” sounds like it was made by a veteran producer. The Swedish artists new song is a step in the right direction for the project, Finis Mundi is not one to be pigeon-holed into one specific sound. The simplistic instrumental perfectly blends together with the vocal chop, coming together with an end result that is basically perfect. I could seriously see this single tearing a club down (in the best way possible – via people getting down). Stream the new single above now and keep your eyes on Mr. Mundi.
