Bass | Varien Delivers Unique House-Based Banger With Single “Claws”
Posted by VMan on April 27, 2018
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard of Varien. From multiple album releases with Monstercat to, more recently, landing #1 on the Korean pop charts writing for thriving national artists – he does what he loves and any fan of his would tell you: there’s alot he loves.
The solo original work, “Claws’,” squeaky clean mastering brings out the thumping basslines to a perfect hard-hitting level, all wrapped in a settling and groovy 128 tempo. Screeching trap aesthetics fill the voids at just the right moment, creating a classic dark sound that’s all it’s own. No one know’s what to expect from Varien next, but the quality caliber never ceases time after time. “Claws” is a unique addition to the extensive Varien roster.
Bass | Sullivan King Drops Largest EP To Date On Kannibalen Records
Posted by VMan on April 27, 2018
The metalhead turned bass behemoth Sullivan King has just dropped his largest project to date. The seven track EP entitled Come One, Come All found a home with Kannibalen Records, which is the perfect match. Fans of anything aggressive will fall in love with this EP and Sullivan King, but he doesn’t just dish up his usual bassy beats. He did the smart thing on this extended release and showed some new sides to him – more melodic sounds that are equally as powerful as his monstrous hybrid records. Enjoy this one over the weekend while you rage!
Bass | Teminite’s “State Of Mind” Turns Bass Music Into Epic Anthem With New Single
Posted by VMan on April 26, 2018
Teminite is no stranger to the bass scene, with a collaboration roster ranging from Evilwave, Said, Chime, PsoGnar, and Georgia Denham, it seems to be all pointing to his new album, an experience undoubtedly to be just as jam-packed with juicy-goodness as “State Of Mind” is.
“State Of Mind’s” wailing, melodic angle in the drop hits just as Teminite intended, with pure power and color. Releasing records is only a small part of what the soloist is up to, from highly-engaging video to insight into his personal life, Teminite goes above and beyond the call of duty to give fans something special.
More info about his album is set to come out soon.
Bass, Electronic | Birthdayy Partyy Go “All Night” Long With New Original
Posted by VMan on April 23, 2018
Birthdayy Partyy – if you don’t know them by now, then you need to get on board as soon as possible. These twin brothers are having a huge year since launching in January and today we have their ninth release. Jumping back to original material, Birthdayy Partyy release “All Night” as a free download, but don’t fret if you’re a streamer – it’s on Spotify, Apple Music and everywhere else. “All Night” shows the duo’s dirty electro sound, something they’ve applied to numerous BPMs with this being in the midtempo range for extra groove. For anyone going to Spring Awakening Festival, be sure to catch these brothers and if you wanna help them get to EDC Las Vegas, shoot them a vote; they deserve it!
Bass, Trance | SHMUCK THE LOYAL Gets Interesting On “Not Alone”
Posted by VMan on April 20, 2018
SHMUCK THE LOYAL is an attention grabbing name in itself, so I was intially drawn in by just that but when clicked play on the new single “Not Alone” I was stoked on finding a new gem. Honestly, the whole song is fire, but one of my favorite parts is the outro. It has a very different vibe than the rest of the song, a lot more chilled and calm, and I want to hear that created into it’s own song tbh. That said “Not Alone” has an old school upbeat energy that will make your weekend right! Stream “Not Alone” above now by SHMUCK THE LOYAL.
Bass, Remix | Get to know AVANCE with his wild trap ATLiens remix

Hailing from Perth, the rising bass producer AVANCE caught me by surprise with his crazy sound-design on his freshly released ATLiens ‘Invasion’ remix that dropped last week that I just had to share it. He completely transforms the song into a frenzy of percussion, stream it above and check out all the remixes dropping from the ATLiens Invasion remix album here.

Well this is straight up magical! Felmax is a producer and DJ on the rise, but this one may take him to the top. Not only is this remix absolutely epic, it’s a flip of Lana Del Rey’s hit “Summertime Sadness” so if it is not taken down and heard by the right folks (mainly DJ’s headed into festival season) this one will get plenty of eyes and ears on it. Can’t get enough of this one, it may only be Springtime but this one makes me feel like I am at a music festival during the Summer. Check out Felmax’s new remix of Lana Del Ray above now!
