Bass, Chill, Remix | Juuku Starts Off Hot w/ BANKS Flip

Posted by on March 7, 2019

Wow, this remix goes hard! Juuku’s debut release is a massive flip of BANKS single “Under The Table” and it is super dope. Juuku is a new artist on my radar but the music speaks for itself. The slow and gradual build up turns into something cinematic and movie soundtrack sounding. Does this producer score movies when he’s not creating bangers? Nobody knows quite yet but the layers upon layers of gnarly sound really hit home for me here. Stream the new flip by Juuku above!

Bass, Chill | TWO LANES Release Heart-Warming Lowly Single “Back Down (Feat. Kwesi)”

Posted by on March 7, 2019

TWO LANES quickly jumped onto the scene in 2018, which was their first year under the alias. With several singles now under their belt and support coming from a variety of different points, TWO LANES’ “Back Down (Feat. Kwesi)” marks a continuation of their creative sound design and modern dance feel. Much of TWO LANES’ has an introverted indie feel, “Back Down” falls right into this lane, sustained synths adding an almost theatrical drama to it.

TWO LANES have acclaimed millions of plays in a few short months with their deep-seeded releases that always leave you thinking. TWO LANES haven’t shared much about themselves, a few photos here and there and they’ve also shared they are brothers as well. They have reached HypeM #1 three times and have been supported by Sirius XM Chill, Kasbo, Zeds Dead, Trap Nation, Mr Suicide Sheep and many others.

Shlizk has released her take on Galantis’ recent original “Bones,” putting her twist on the original that new and veteran Shlizk fans alike with be familiar with. Shlizk style tends to be a blend of thick 808 with a bit of melody included. “Bones (Shlizk Remix)” contains this and much more during the three minute ride. The soloist teeters on the line between dance, trap and pop well, pulling together an eclectic balance of each to inflate the original with something new and worthy.

DJ/producer Shlizk has been in the game for years, releasing tunes in which tens of thousands have been touched by and locking down performances on multiple continents. Shlizk dedicates herself to the craft and clearly gets passion and life out the music she makes, “Bones (Shlizk Remix)” is far from the last tune she’s set to make.

Bass | Focus Fire Creates Bass-Oriented Original “Everybody Wants” Alongside David Shane and Exclusion

Posted by on March 7, 2019

Focus Fire and Exclusion have made an emotionally charged original that hits you in the feels fast, “Everybody Wants (feat. David Shane).” The highly melodic and enchanting vocals soften the listener while the drop soon follows after. The single gets quite technical with the first and second half’s of the tune almost playing out like 2 different songs. The build up and drops are bass-oriented at the core, yet are built on a cloudy soundscape that are all it’s own – the totality of the tune being professional and quality.

Focus Fire have been busy late 2018, early 2019, with several singles already behind them this year. Collaborations with Similar Outskirts, Nanoo, Exclusion, and David Shane showcases Focus Fire’s ability to fan the creative flames to full ignition with all the creators they work with. Given Focus Fire’s ease of finishing productions, their 5th single of 2019 most likely isn’t far away.
