Finally, after numerous exciting singles and building of anticipation, the duo Aer has unleashed their full length album “One of a Kind”. While it stays true to their old reggae-rap sound, the album is a complete step forward for Aer. I’ll leave it there and let the album speak for itself.

In preparation for their newest album One of a Kind, the Boston duo Aer drops off “Keep You Here”. An alternative reggae-rap song that entices listeners with soft-sung melodies and booming drums to accompany the hook.
While the video doesn’t add too much depth to the song, it’s a great look in to the setting of the song and shows that Aer is just as positive and happy as they’ve always been. Perhaps a highlight of the song is the short bridge towards the end which comes in with a light trumpet before returning to the upbeat chorus.

WOW, Down in Flames is probably the best releases I have stumbled onto this summer, its an absolute smash. Cleopold, who recently signed to Chet Fakers label is definitely making music that I think will make you just jump in your car, put the top down, and just drive for hours. A super catchy hook, and a groovy beat produced by the legendary Bag Raiders, nothing gets better than that. Make sure you take a listen to this one, cause if you didn’t know who Cleopold was , now you do!

One of my favorite two artist right now Jahkoy and Vasta on one record, this is a dream come true. Jahkoy, who is a Toronto native is probably the most talented up and coming RnB acts on the scene now and is definitely about to have his year. Vasta, who I spotted a few months ago is working his way up the ranks in the dance world taking on an impressive set of remixes including The Chainsmokers last single as well as up and coming stars XYLO. If there is a remix you need to know about today, it is that Kasum took the bold remixing duties of Three Eye Blind’s 90s hit “Semi-Charmed Life.” Now, Kasum has some serious experience taking on classic pop-punk jams that defined many of our childhoods, but this one is straight up impressive. I don’t even know what to call the genre but it’s some incredibly creative mix of progressive melodies, a shredding guitar line, trap percussion in the back, and tropical instruments that pulls all the best from each source.
