Sometimes when Timeflies in front of your eyes, you need to stop, look around, and take it all in. Surrealism. With the lead single off their 100% original, One Night EP, Cal and Rez embrace the moment and ask for One Night. With all things considered, is that really too much to ask for?
Pre-order the new EP here (Out 11/27): http://smarturl.it/OneNightEP

Drumroll please….
Although the dudes have been busy living the tour life as of late, another highly anticipated EP is right around the corner from Timeflies. Chris Brown may have made “Don’t Wake Me Up” relevant in pop culture, but like many others, Cal and Rez made this song their own. Transforming the club heater into a baby making anthem, Cal lays his emotions into his vocals like I’ve never heard before. The One Night EP will be available for iTunes presale on 11/19 followed by the release of an album promo video on the 20th, while the project will hit digital shelves on the following Tuesday, 11/27. Prepare to enter ecstasy.
Freestyle, Hip-Hop | Logic – Concrete
Posted by Grubeats on November 12, 2012
When you have a lyrical arsenal comparable to that of the U.S. Military (While we’re on the topic, thank you to all of our Veterans), you have no choice but to pay your respects to a hip-hop classic. Logic lets loose a rock solid cut that he has been holding in his vault, “Concrete”, flexing over Nas’ legendary, “New York State Of Mind Pt. II”. Opening up and revealing some of his personal history, the Gaithersburg High School dropout reflects on the state of hip-hop, “The King is dead, long live the king now watch me reign, spit fire that I attain from leaving a dragon slain”. At this point, I feel comfortable saying that Logic has nixed any disbelief from naysayers arguing his choice to put music in the forefront at such a young age. XXL Freshman 2013?

Staying consistent with his releases, QuESt brings us his newest piece of visual work, “The Fear” directed by YUNG Cristian B. The video represents QuESt’s vision as he works to overcome his fears by embracing them. By the time it’s said and done, we may just have a video to correspond with every track off his last mixtape, Fear Not Failure. New music coming early 2013.

Hearing Jon Bellion’s illustrious creations in itself is an honor. Having a behind the scenes look at his creative process is just icing on the cake. Watching Jon add each intricate layer to the production is what amazes me most. When you hear his music you may not realize all of the fine details and elements that make up the final product, but seeing “the making of” really draws a new appreciation for his music. Ping back to the initial post on the LIFE music video and stay up for details on his all original project, Translations Through Speakers, dropping before years end.

P.S. I’m blogging this while I wait in line to vote. Don’t make excuses, get out and do it.
