Bass, Trap | Singularity ft. Evan Duffy – Vain (Notixx Remix)
Posted by BP on February 13, 2014
Here’s something a little more upbeat than what I usually post. Notixx’s remix of “Vain” by Singularity ft. Evan Duffy puts a fun new twist on the original. Bouncy drumwork and bass lines set the foundation for this trap/electronic banger. This track manages to not quite be chill trap, but also not festival trap or hard trap. It falls somewhere in the middle, and maybe some of you would just call it electronic. The vocals are utilized excellently in the intro and altered nicely in the industrial sounding drops. If you’re diggin’ this genre defying track, cop it for free!
Chill, Trap | Cleindl – Want You Back
Posted by BP on February 13, 2014
I know this isn’t exactly trap, but some of the drums have that vibe to them. “Want You Back” by Cleindl is filled to the brim with chill vibes. Relaxing and mellow, the bass and vocal chops will carry you away to dreamland. The Tokyo based producer is always bringing us intricate melodies and this track doesn’t fall short. I’m looking forward to more work from Cleindl. Grab it for free… maybe for Valentine’s Day? 😉

Dubstep | Boss Miller – Don’t Stand Still (Unlimited Gravity Remix)
Posted by BP on February 12, 2014
New dubstep is always fun to find. Unlimited Gravity just released this melodic remix of Boss Miller’s track “Don’t Stand Still”. “Don’t Stand Still” is the title track for Boss Miller’s upcoming album. Unlimited Gravity’s version has some sick growls, and the vocals are ear pleasing to say the least. Jumpy synths and low rumbling bass complete the superb medley of sounds. This track is up for free download if it suits your fancy!

Chill, Electronic | SYZ & ORCA – Outtaspace
Posted by BP on February 12, 2014
It’s just hit after hit from Cream Collective this week. SYZ and Orca came together on this track to create a deep ambient space with creative twists. “Outtaspace” is dreamy and mesmerizing. Vocal chops dance over pulsating synths in this chill masterpiece. I am impressed with the frequency and quality of work coming from both these artists. They are definitely names to watch out for. SYZ has an EP called “Roses” coming out on Cream Collective very soon – keep an eye out, and grab this track for free while you wait!
Chill, Electronic | OBESON – Insomnia
Posted by BP on February 10, 2014
Obeson, pronounced “obey-son” for those who are not familiar, from Toronto, put out this unique track today and I have to say I am impressed. Using only the lyric “when you feel so tired but you can’t sleep” from Coldplay’s “Fix You” for the vocal sample, Obeson successfully conveys the vibe of insomnia throughout this eerie track. This mellow track is dark and mysterious, like the night when you can’t sleep. Grab it for free for your next late night.

Chill, Electronic | Sevnth Wonder – Fall 4 U
Posted by BP on February 9, 2014
After listening to this song on repeat all day, I figured it should be posted. Cream Collective has just been rockin’ lately. “Fall 4 U” by Boston based producer Sevnth Wonder is extremely mellow. If a song could be charming, this one would be. Smooth and sultry bass lines set the tone for the peaceful vocals. This track was originally featured in Complexion’s “Future Beats Show” earlier this month and it got fantastic feedback. Now it’s being released for all of us to download for free!

Bass for Autism consists of two parts. First, an online music festival hosted on Mixify.com. Second is a compilation of tracks from various bass heavy artists to support the cause. Some featured artists are Dodge & Fuski, Barely Alive, Bear Grillz, Subvibe, Fractal, T-Mass, and more. The compilation can be downloaded for free on Facebook, or downloaded for $9.99 on Bandcamp. All of the proceeds go to support autism research at the Organization for Autism Research. The tracks range multiple genres, but all bring the bass. I’ve posted just a few songs below. A great cause and awesome tracks? How can you resist?
