Deep House, House | Bobby Nourmand – The Sound
Posted by Juicebox on February 5, 2015

Thank you Bobby Nourmand for bringing us back to one of our favorite movies as a kid. The LA producer recently remixed Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sounds of Silence” – which many will remember was a key component of the classic movie The Graduate – and he brought the 60s song to today’s dance floors. Pulling inspiration from the originals haunting nature, Bobby Nourmand arranges a hair-raising brew of thrilling bass pulses and uncanny melodies for a refreshing deep house heater rebranded as “The Sound.” Download this creative remix and be sure to watch out for Bobby Nourmand’s next releases.

This is a big day for both Fresh New Tracks and Kap Slap. We like to boast that we found Kap Slap first all the way back in January 2010. It’s been amazing to watch him grow from a kid in a dorm room making mashups to touring internationally selling out shows and playing some of the most iconic festivals across the country. TODAY, Kap Slap takes the biggest step of his career and releases his FIRST EVER original production. Making mashups and producing your own material are two completely different worlds and we’re beyond ecstatic to announce that Kap Slap has exceeded our expectations with his first original. Kap has released 50+ tracks for free and all he asks is that you spend $1 on his first song and support him! You can buy it HERE.

A couple of weeks back, Annie Mac premiered Justin Jay‘s ominous remix of Disciples’ “They Don’t Know” on her BBC Radio 1 Show. The track dives into the deep parts of house music to spawn a villainous remix full of hypnotic percussion loops and growling bass tremors. Justin Jay’s current list of ventures are impressive being only 22 years old, but if this track is any indication of what is to come in 2015, fans can expect to see major strides to be made by the Dirtybird young gun. The track will be released via Pete Tong’s FFRR Records on February 22nd.
