Helping us kick off 2018, the Bicycle Boys over at Solé have teamed up with Klingande for an uplifting, bouncy mix that will shake away that lingering Holiday blues. A fixture on our blog, The Fixtape Series is one of our favorite mix series out there and stoked to see what they’ve got up their sleeve in the New Year.

UK based producer Sam Eley AKA Sad Meal received his first swell of attention for winning a remix contest of “Forever” by Academy.fm in conjunction with Cymatics. After a few minor setbacks, several failed the Sad Meal project is proving to have its first comeback with this remix. Influenced by his early love of rock n roll and metal as well as his more recent desire to produce euphoric soundscapes like early Porter Robinson and Madeon, Sad Meal clearly creates a melting pot of sounds from both worlds. Overall, a standout remix that shows how he won the contest and will keep him on our radar in the future.

Hot off joining The Magician’s new label, Potion!, this Aussie duo and Friday night host of triple j have consistently been waking waves in the house scene for over a decade. UK newcomer Charley Stride may be new to the pop scene, but she has made a strong break out of the gates with her debut single, “Different Stars.” Coming out of Southampton, the developing singer has a soulful yet comforting combination to her vocal tenacity. “Different Stars” holds an 80s pop vibe at its core with modern accent elements in the production while Stride shows off her impressive range. With a strong debut, Charley Stride will be a name to keep an eye on the come-up over the next couple months.

Swedish production outfit, Tungevaag & Raaban, are rather unknown stateside, however, the two have been on a rocket ship with European fans. With catchy melodies and signature vocal chops, the pair have lent their skills to fellow European team BUNT. and their song “Take Me Home.” While they maintain the soul of BUNT.’s original production, Tungevaag & Raaban swap the folk and country elements for more current dance pop stylings.
