Hip-Hop | RiFF RAFF & GHETTY- BATH SALTS (Video)
Posted by A on June 27, 2012
“RAP GAME DO A BARREL ROLL, WAVE RACE.”
Let me preface this by saying I can’t get enough of Riff Raff. He’s genius. I don’t understand, however, why he collaborates with all of these no-name rappers. It seems that Riff Raff and his video guy have a package a no-name rapper can purchase that includes a verse and a video. I’m not hating on Riff for that, everyone has to pay the bills, I just wish we could get more “You Never Know” type verses that we all know and love Riff Raff for. When Riff Raff writes structured raps, like in the video above, he loses some of his appeal in my opinion. Regardless, Riff Raff continues to captivate, as he’s hands down my favorite artist right now.
Hip-Hop, Videos | Nardwuar vs. Asher Roth
Posted by A on June 26, 2012
Internet meme and arguably the greatest interview of all time, Nardwuar, interviews Asher Roth outside Beat Street Records in Vancouver, BC, Canada and asks him about everything from keeping P. Diddy’s house slippers to cheech and chong rolling papers. Doot-doola-doo-doo-doot-doot! Hits Nardwuar pose… for 15 minutes.
Hip-Hop | Jazz Cartier – Ataraxia (Prod. by Lantz)

“My bars cause accidents watch as I damage shit.”
My posts, although few and far between, are synonymous with flowery prose used to describe the music at hand. I’m going to save you the long-drawn-out-paragraph and tell you that it would be a mistake to pass on this track from Jazz’s forthcoming “Marauding In Paradise” project. Video directed and shot by Ross Lai and Ashton Lewis.

Glitch | Flo-Rida- Let It Roll (Video)

“Flo-Rida is the Nickleback of hip-hop” -Spice
Is there a more hated individual in the hip-hop world than Flo-Rida? I mean talk about sell outs of all sell outs. Sure, he’s making Maybach money, but I doubt he’s even being invited to the BET awards anymore. Even if he was, I’m not sure he would even show up. I’m sure he has weed carriers homies from his previous hood that still run in his circle. Do you think they’re really feeling these dance songs? I’m sure they just go along with it because they’re on the payroll. The only reason I’m posting this video is because Keith Apicary. Are we really supposed to believe that Flo-Rida watches Keith Apicary videos all day? The calculated moves by Flo-Rida’s management in the attempt to go viral are painfully obvious.
Electronic | Clinton Sparks Vs. Semisonic – Closing Time
Posted by A on June 19, 2012
Sampling Semisonic’s legendary 90’s “Closing Time” rock-ballad, Clinton flips the sample that’s a “must play” at the end of the night after incessantly crushing the bar. If this track isn’t enough to satisfy your Clinton fix, he’ll be dropping another remix on Thursday as we await “My Awesome Mixtape 3’s” July release. Get familiar, and follow via his social networking sites below!

Hip-Hop | Kitty Pryde & Riff Raff – Orion’s Belt (Video)
Posted by A on June 18, 2012
“The way I ball, I could have played for the Toronto raptors.”
Music is all about bringing people together—especially when those people are capable of virtually crashing internet servers with the snap of a Twitpic. Noisey teamed up with Kitty “Rap Game Taylor Swift” Pryde and Riff “Rap Game James Franco” Raff in Daytona Beach for “Orion’s Belt,” the new cut off of Kitty Pryde’s recent acclaimed EP, Haha, I’m Sorry. Cavorting around a beachside carnival, the dynamic duo gets into some (surprisingly) good, clean fun in a video that will inevitably be referred to as “Rap Game That-Last-Scene-In-Grease.”
