Due to popular demand Mach and I are starting a weekly Drum & Bass post every Friday. The only problem is we still haven’t decided on what to call the post, so we are looking to the fans to help us out. So if anyone has any good suggestions on a name email us, find us in the chat, tweet us; do whatever you can to get a hold of us to tell us. With that said lets get our first installment started. 2DB is just beginning to get his exposure in Dnb and this track caught my attention right away. The synth and driving bass work well together to create and perfect skanker. If you like what you hear be sure to like him on FACEBOOK. Were going to try and cover all aspects of Drum & Bass on this post, from the soothing melodic Dnb to the grimey Drumstep, so there is something for everyone. First we have Terravita with yet another free track. These have just been releasing free track after free track, but this time instead of their usual dubstep track they gave away this Dnb track that the fans have been wanting for a long time. With is growl filled synths and heavy bass it is evident why it is in such high demand.

Electro-House | Simon Shout – Optimus (Original Mix) [FNT Exclusive]

Simon Hoppe or Simon Shout has had this one ready for a while and after flirting with getting it signed to a label, he decided to go ahead and release this massive acid electro house track. Simon has just landed from his Yacht Week residency in the British Virgin Islands and after spending some time in Miami, he is ready to get back in the studio and release some quality tracks. “Optimus” is the perfect track to get you over your Thursday night and get you ready for the weekend. The track starts with a moving bass line with a prominent clap that builds with acid infused synths that crescendos into a drop of quick moving acid infused synths and pounding bass. The middle takes a left turn with some big room synths and then hits again with the acid infused electro synths and an addictive bass line. Simon I am glad you did not sign this one. House, Progressive House | The Naked & Famous – Young Blood (Tiesto & Hardwell Remix) [Preview]

Another sneak peek from Tiesto’s upcoming album entitled “Club Life Vol. 2: Miami”. This one is a collaboration between him and his protege Hardwell, and I must say I am two thumbs up on it. Though the track may not have that signature trance or dutch sound that personifies these two artists, it shows how much range EDM producers are beginning to possess these days, which is important because the diversification of sound is becoming a lifeline to artists in a genre where new producers are popping up every day. “Chasing Summers” showed us a bit of Tiesto’s dark side, while this Young Blood Remix displays a more progressive and light sound from the master of trance. My mouse is clicking repeat all day…
