One of the fan favorites off Logic’s recent mixtape, Young Sinatra, here is the live footage of the Maryland MC killing it live on the air at WMUC 88.1 FM, University of Maryland. This is by far one of the rawest tracks off the tape as Logic puts on a clinic for any artist wondering how to lyrically annihilate a beat. Los, the Baltimore newcomer, is spitting absolute fire these past couple tracks I’ve listened to. Obvy for me I post the XV, just to keep all of my posts connected somehow. I know everyone is about to hit finals or holidays, both of which lead to excessive drinking, eating, all nighters and working out (haha just kidding) (working out pft) so this is a bomb pump up song about getting what you want. Dubstep, Electro-House | Kaskade Eyes Remixes

The remixes to Kaskade’s Eyes are finally out. All the attention seems to be going to Alvin Risk’s remix and it is evident why. The drop sounds like a combination of laser synths going off with a combined ruffneck bass synth. R3hab and Swanky Tunes remixes aren’t too bad either, but they were too generic sounding. R3hab starts the track off nice by setting up the vocals with a dope beat, then goes into his signature electro sounding drop. The Swanky Tunes remix didn’t really bring much to the table.

The Dean’s List released this video for “The Dream” off their 2011 mixtape, The Drive-In, earlier this week. Setting scene on the road and sharing some footage from their recent journey on tour, Sonny takes it into the vacant wilderness to recite these powerful lyrics. FTS creative have been making some very impressive videos lately and are honestly giving Rex Arrow a run for his money. The Dean’s List have been releasing visuals for new tracks as well as singles off The Drive-In for several months now, but expect an announcement for their next project, Generation X, coming very soon.

Fresh off the release of his eye and ear opening mixtape, Awaken, Elite gives us a cut that didn’t quite make the cut for the mixtape. I’m still completely blown away by the mixtape and it’s definitely among one of my favorite projects of 2011. Expect more singles and bonus tracks dropping over the next several weeks and don’t expect Elite to slow down anytime soon. The second track here is one which Elite featured a spot on D1‘s record. D1′s smooth vocals coupled with Elite’s percussion backed verse make this another joint you don’t want to sleep on.
