One word: WOW. Elephante’s newest original track, “Black Ivory”, just absolutely blew our minds! Being used to the progressive/electro elements that we usually find in Phante’s tracks, “Black Ivory” goes to show that Elephante is a producer that can defy genres and explore limitless possibilities. While that classic Elephante sound can still be heard, this new original production takes a more “future bass” approach, complete with hard hitting yet melodic drops, energetic bass lines, and also some actual elephant sounds! WOW, Down in Flames is probably the best releases I have stumbled onto this summer, its an absolute smash. Cleopold, who recently signed to Chet Fakers label is definitely making music that I think will make you just jump in your car, put the top down, and just drive for hours. A super catchy hook, and a groovy beat produced by the legendary Bag Raiders, nothing gets better than that. Make sure you take a listen to this one, cause if you didn’t know who Cleopold was , now you do!

When Lizzie McGuire kissed Gordo on top of that hotel roof in Rome in the Lizzie McGuire movie I just lost it. It was so obvious he was crushing hard and to see him finally toss it in there made my bros and I all very happy. The feeling of surprise Gordo must have felt in that moment is what I feel right now as I write a post for a big room track. Riggi & Piros are among the upper echelon of the (thankfully dying) big room sound and have decided to give away a track for free. It is titled “WOW” and has the worst cover art I have ever seen. I don’t know what they were going for but it is not erotic in the slightest. As far as the song goes, it’s largely typical big room stuff. It is also good though. I dislike big room but Riggi & Piros have managed to momentarily convince me otherwise.

And yet… another contribution from our sweeter than Swedish Fish Swede, Rebecca. I don’t know if you know this about Sweden but they drink about 5x the amount of coffee per day than we do in America so dis girl be busting out posts like it was her job. And who knows maybe one day it might be. Not until she gets some more Twitter followers though (help her out here!).
If you don’t feel the good vibrations in your whole body from this track, there must be something wrong, because WOW this is addictive. I’ve got that tingling sensation in my skin that goes hand in hand with the discovery of a new favorite song. And this particular one makes me wanna do a spontaneous twirl of happiness. If it wasn’t for my flatmate’s pulled-together presence, honestly I would already have done it.
Opening my Soundcloud stream turned this grey afternoon into a glamorous yet modern, Motown party (…at least in my head, no reaction from my not very engaged roomie). And not to mention, everything Motown makes me melt (my dear family has never been religious apart from praising The Supremes and Jackson 5.) With ”Riding High on Love Edit”, the Swedish DJ Axel Boman does his house version of Jr. Walker and the Allstars’ Motown classic.
Axel Boman is my personal deep house/house crush as he manages to really stand out from the crowd of thousands and thousands of similar DJs. It may has something to do with his down to Earth charm (check his insta and be love struck), but it’s clear his productions possess the originality that makes them most memorable. His ”Purple Drank” got stuck in my head right away the first time I heard it. It was the vocals: One sentence, right where it should be: ”I woke up with your name on my lips.” I woke up with this song stuck in my head, I’ll tell you. And it was pleasurable.

Seems that Coyote Kisses inspired many other artists to jump on the Star Wars train. The Noisy Freaks and Dead CAT Bounce jumped onto one hell of a collaboration. I wont say that they topped Coyote Kisses, but WOW, this is ana epic electro remix. I can imagine Darth Vader obliterating an entire army by himself to this.

Modestep creates some of the most catchy vocals, remixed by the masses. Their newest EP has finally arrived, and WOW. The original track is incredible and each remix is its own league of filth. My personal favorite from the EP would have to be the Phear Phace & SOS remix, but the rest are just as good.
