Alternative, Ambient | Manatee Commune is about to take off!

Posted by on June 21, 2016

I heard this tune and literally could not stop listening, it has the most infectious vocals and the production is absolutely amazing. Bastard Jazz Recordings is probably one of the coolest labels out on the east coast, and has some of the coolest artists / vibes out there. After listening to this tune, I think they may break out as a bigger and more well known label in the mainstream for sure. Also, Manatee Commune is an awesome band to begin with, I can’t wait for their album now! Check them out and make sure to peep another favorite of mine: Manatee Commune – Clay feat. Marina Price

This is an absolute smash, I recently discovered this tune and man oh man this thing sounds like its beachside or poolside ready. It’s finally getting really nice, and this is just a tease for summer, pools, and posting up outside. “Obsessed” could not be a more accurate representation of what comes to mind after copious spins of Bordertown’s phenomenal remix of the already enchanting Tom & Collins track, “Obsessed.” This remix is truly a cinematic experience, introducing us to its bouncing bass-lines with nothing short of what sounds like an ensemble of strings. Although still full of energy, this track calls on listeners to become entranced with every beat. Bordertown is setting the bar high with this deep house groove and we can’t wait to see what other tricks are up their sleeves.

The year long wait is over. Jordan Chude is back with the release of his entire project “The Interlude.” The Interlude EP represents an area of in-between for Chude, who is graduating with a Music Business degree at NYU this coming May. With some of life’s biggest decisions fast approaching, The Interlude serves as Chude’s attitudes, thoughts, and opinions going into this next part of his life. Its sound exudes unapologetic confidence from songs such as “Time” and “The Return” as well as retrospect on “Legendary” and “Possible.”
