Huge ups to our main man Jason Gaffner for slipping this summery banger in right before the end 2k16. While we’ve seen a lot of guys go the tropical route to achieve that coveted “summertime vibe”,”When The Sun Goes Down” captures all the warmth and exuberance of a summer speaker breaker but without the help of a kettledrum. In order to achieve this monumental feet, The LA native cooked up some massive basslines and extraordinary synth riffs to help express the scale and energy of a West Coast sunset. “When The Sun Goes Down” just a few weeks ahead of Mr. Gaffner’s forthcoming,  “Journeys EP” in January.  You can find this gem wrapped up under the X-Mas tree or on iTunes and Spotify.

“Cold Ain’t For Me” is the first single for Oceans, the British-Danish duo who met at a writing camp, and took their talents to the next level.  Opting for a tropical/indie dance vibe, Oceans’ debut single is an ode to the end of the summer, cause cold ain’t for them, and it ain’t for me either. Now if only we could control the weather, cause it’s one thing to sing it, but it’s another to make it happen. Feel the sunny vibes, and stream “Cold Ain’t For Me” on Spotify!

Chill | Camden Levine Releases Rozes Remix That’s Off The Chain

Posted by on September 21, 2016

Camden has been at it for a while and defintily hit the hammer on the nail with this one. Camden Levine keep’s the vibe dramatic, dark, cold, and all-around enjoyable with an approved remix of Rozes’ “Hangin’ On”.

I remember when the dude dropped his Avicii “Broken Arrows” remix way back, he gained a foothold during the tropical house movement then, but has surely differentiated and diversified his sound since that time. Keep it up dude!

It’s no shocker that Felix Jaehn is a mastermind in the tropical house genre. The German producer became instantly famous when he released his reggae, pop-infused remix of OMI’s “Cheerleader” last summer, which skyrocketed to the #1 spot on iTunes charts in over 55 countries. Suddenly bestowed with a huge international fan base, Felix was prepared to maintain that energy by showing off his musical dynamism by working with some of most talented producers and artists in the industry. Just last month, his pop-infused single “Can’t Go Home” with powerhouse artists Steve Aoki and Adam Lambert demonstrated the 21-year-old producer’s effortless ability to cross through genres and step outside his comfort zone.

Now, Felix Jaehn returns to once again surprise us with another genre-defying gem. His newest track “Cut The Cord” with Berlin-based producer Hitimpulse is a bouncy, evocative tune that highlights a fusion of rolling piano scales, thick synths, and a punching breakbeat rhythm.
