MA Music is proving the are well aware of the trend and are seeking artists and music that fits. Never Look Back. is the well-put together blend of old and new styles, which is no wonder that MA locked him in.

Never Look Back pulls together bass house, party dubstep/trap hybrids, and an onslaught of heavy horns and grinding dubstep sounds to form the energetic experience that it is. There is something to be respected about artists that can’t be categorized into a specific genre and Paper Diamond is definitely one of those cats. The genre spanning producer out of Boulder, Colorado is in the midsts of headlining his Cold Crush Tour. If your not able to catch him on the road and you happen to be in Vegas after March 26th you can catch him at club Surrender.

A few days back Hypetrak premiered Paper Diamonds latest offering. “Black Rose” is light, easy-going tune that rides the cusp between a Hip Hop instrumental and a downtempo electronic jawn. After downloading this freebie check out the Diplo & Friends mix that recently dropped for free on Paper Diamond’s Soundcloud. Be sure to check him out on his Cold Crush tour with some very special guests at any one of the dates after the jump.

Note: You must be 19+ to enter!

Fantazia returns after it’s remarkable debut last year selling out the arena showcase at UMASS Amherst.  Fantazia has been dubbed “Way ahead of its time!” by Jesse Waits, Owner of XS Las Vegas and is coming to some of the most prestigious venues at select dates across the U.S. starting with the World’s Largest Floating Dance Festival aka The Groove Cruise in LA!

The unique and visionary spectacle created by concert event gurus NV Concepts, alongside their creative headliner and performance DJ; DSK CHK has already made waves in the EDM scene and isn’t slowing down as it sweeps across the country to bring this one of a kind dance event to major cities nation-wide.

Retrofitted with a completely different production, cast and concept, Fantazia delves deep into a world only found in our dreams.  A perfect merging of fantastical characters takes on an immersive musical journey through EDM.  The show focuses around the now infamous baby grand DJ piano controlled by DSK CHK whose sets take on a life of their own.

If you are lucky enough to be in the area during any of the dates, you don’t want to miss Fantazia!  Checkout the amazing video to gain perspective and visit for ticket information and more!

Albums | Is this the future of EDM events?

Posted by on September 26, 2012

“Fantazia 360” by NV Concepts (explained in the video above) ventures outside the norm by incorporating a theatrical experience into its show. The goal behind their movement is obvious; to supplement the monotonous stage productions seen elsewhere and start a new breed of EDM events. Will Fantazia 360 set a new precedent? Will Tiesto, Avicii, Dada Life, etc start to feature the likes of acrobats and fire breathers? I think NV Concepts is moving in the right direction by trying to add more performance value to shows so I’d like to see this progression come to fruition. However, I’m weary that the unauthentic party goers of our time will continue to settle for less.

If you’re as curious as I am about Fantazia 360, purchase tickets for their shows in NY, PA, MA – HERE.

Philadelphia, PA: 11.03.12

Hip-Hop, Videos | Sam Adams – Blow Up [Music Video]

Sammy recently dropped the first single, “Blow Up”off his debut LP, since inking a major deal with RCA Records at Sony.  A sprightly hook and verses his fans can relate to, Sam brings us back to the “I Hate College” days. Yes he has a fair amount of work to do to build himself back into the freshman that stunned the world with his debut EP release, but now with the proper tools in place I’m confident Sam’s going to be resurrecting his brand and reaching a new level of success.  Sammy traced back his roots and found himself shooting this video in Allston, MA where he first started to “Blow Up”.  Despite this being the first music video we’ve seen since “Still I Rise” with G. Curtis, this project encompasses every aspect necessary for national and international success and should kick start Boston’s Boy back onto the charts.  No confirmed date yet for the album, but we can definitely expect a grade A projet in 2012.
