Alternative, Ambient | LaDonnis – Liar

Posted by on July 6, 2016

I literally cannot stop listening to this new tune I discovered! LaDonnis is probably the smoothest new voice on Fools Gold, and I couldn’t be more excited about this tune. Liar is so fun to listen to, and I think its gonna get remixed big time. I don’t want to make a Kid Cudi analogy here, but it kinda reminds me of what he used to be. Check back in, cause I am gonna definitely share my favorite LaDonnis tunes as they are out!

ALBUM ART FOR DROP

Finally, after numerous exciting singles and building of anticipation, the duo Aer has unleashed their full length album “One of a Kind”. While it stays true to their old reggae-rap sound, the album is a complete step forward for Aer. I’ll leave it there and let the album speak for itself.

Download the project from iTunes here!

Also, if you missed it, check out Aer’s cover of “Up Up & Away”.

Hip-Hop | Logic – Two Kings ft. King Chip

Amidst his 23 tour, performing along with Tyler the Creator, Big Sean, and Kid Cudi, XXL Freshman, Logic, lets loose a newly cut record for the fans.  Based on the feature, my guess is that Logic hit the studio with Cudi’s right hand man, King Chip before hitting the road.  Chip has a few years under his belt, while Logic is still new to many faces, but the two lesser known faces lace together a track, worthy of such a title.  Produced by C-Sick, “Two Kings” is everything from machine gun raps, to hidden metaphors, to a deep & direct hook, and a confident self preserving guest feature from Cleveland’s own, King Chip.

If you’re interested in catching Logic, Sean, Tyler, & Cudi live, check the schedule and grab tickets for a city near you.

Hip-Hop | Kid Cudi – King Wizard (Prod. By Kid Cudi)

Kid Cudi unveils King Wizard off his upcoming album. ”Mark my words, INDICUD will be the greatest album ever made. Know that I’m not lying.” says Cudi. Unfortunately my lack of mental strength here at 3:46 AM hinders me from dreamweavering your comprehensional abilities with a marvelous opinion.

Hip-Hop | KiD CuDi – Just What Iam ft. King Chip

Posted by on August 15, 2012

Kid Cudi’s long awaited followup to Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager is soon to be here. The upcoming album entitled Indicud will see Cudi return to his rapping ways and Cudi is not shy about giving it high expectations, dubbing the album as his version of The Chronic 2001. The first leak off the project is “Just What Iam” and features longtime collaborator King Chip (formerly Chip Tha Ripper). If you were slightly disappointed by Cudi’s WZRD project, you will be glad to hear him back to his old self.

Hip-Hop | Kid Cudi – Dose of Dopeness (Produced by Dot Da Genius)

Posted by on February 21, 2012

Dot Da Genius decided to drop this song that he and Kid Cudi originally recorded back in 2008. Youtube rips of the song have been circulating the web since then and now you can get rid of those and listen to the finished product. Kid Cudi brings us back to his style and flow like his works on Man On The Moon accompanied by a smooth beat of varying percussive elements and a piano melody that carries the song from start to finish. Yes I did just publish a Hip Hop post so enjoy this dose of dopeness.
