Everybody loves a familiar song mixed with some excellent production and growling bass, right? Wick-it’s dubstep remix of “Holy Grail” by Jay-Z feat. Justin Timberlake still keeps the unique pacing and rhythm of the original, while spicing it up with more bass and and haunting piano notes. Penthouse Penthouse (the band so good they named it twice) dropped a preview of this juicy beat a few weeks ago and I’ve been biting my nails since because I had a feeling it was just too delicious of a sound to only last 1:31 – and bam, was I right! I love all three of the artists at work here; their tracks give me this feeling of being at an A-list infinity pool party surrounded by sexy socialites, top-shelf liquor and finely trimmed hedges. And even if I’m in my friend’s backyard with a kiddie pool, a frisbee and some PBR, I know this jam brings all the swag I need.
Anyway, with the magic touch from Djemba Djemba (doubles again?!) and Mr. Carmack, I’d describe it as Justin Timberlake-esque but with more street cred and less buttons fastened on his shirt. Now sit back and prepare to be swept off your feet because this is only the beginning of your new summer romance.

I am definitely a Trap hater, there is no use me hiding from that truth. When I post Trap, I have no doubt it is a track I enjoy, the same could be said for everything else I post. Justin Timberlake’s new track “Suit & Tie” has gotten a lot of publicity since its release with record high sales predictions. Chris Hurst delivers one of the sexiest Trap productions I have heard, making the orignal actually enjoyable. Chris Hurst deserves to pat himself on the back for this one.

Before everyone gets too excited, I’m obligated to tell all of you that this is not an actual song. The song will come at some point in the next 5 days, and expect it to be on FNT within 7 seconds of its release. This brief video is a small look into Justin Timberlake’s musical mind. This dude has been crazy busy, juggling acting, music, and reviving washed up social media websites. Good to hear how much of perfectionist he is, which gives me hope that his album(rumored to be produced by Timberland), will be nothing less than the best. Check out the black and white minute video above and be on the lookout for a J-Tim drop on SUNDAY.
Also, for the sake of news, Destiny’s Child also announced that they will be releasing a new song to add to their career compilation, “Love Songs.” The track will be produced by Virginia native Pharrell and will feature the last 3 members of DC, the trio of Beyoncé, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. Looks like 2013 is the year of the comeback. Be on the lookout for that release on January 29th.
