Electronic | JMSN – Thing U Miss (The Ninetys Remix)

Posted by on April 25, 2014

Today was a good day, because The Ninetys put out a new remix. This is my fifth post of The Ninetys in the last year (whoops, The Ninetys rules) so you know it has got to be good! JMSN’s “Thing U Miss” is given a new twist here. It’s got a more ambient feel, which is a bit different for The Ninetys but it works really well. Speedy drums carry the piano melody along, giving it life and charisma. The track is emotional and smooth. It’s hard to categorize, but a fun listen – grab it for free!

Chill | JMSN – Walk Away

Posted by on September 18, 2013

“Walk Away” by JMSN is an absolute beauty. This track is packed with emotion. The vocals flow smoothly over the breathtaking strings. My favorite part is when the drums really kick in around three minutes in. To say this track is powerful is an understatement. It will be a part of the album ‘†Pllaj醒 (which honestly I have no idea how to say) that is written and produced solely by JMSN.

Chill, Electronic | Kastle – Death From Above ft. JMSN

Posted by on August 25, 2013

Kastle has been one of my favorite producers for a few years now. “Death From Above” featuring JMSN (who is also awesome) is a single off of Kastle’s self-titled album for sale on iTunes. The vocals from all different octaves somehow flow together with the off beat rhythm. Kastle keeps his signature sexy, simple style throughout the whole album, and this single is no exception. It’s saucy and smooth and a must-have for chill electronic fans!

Events, Trap | JMSN – Girl (I Used To Know) [MiMOSA Remix]

Posted by on August 23, 2012

Most current Trap is terrible, just because you have never heard of Trap before its recent explosion doesn’t mean you should try to create it. Everyone who has or is planning to create a Trap track please listen to this and take notes. MiMOSA has created the perfect example of good Trap. The beat isn’t Moombahton repetitive, as most recent Trap is, and better reflects its Hip-hop counterpart. The remix is exceptional, JMSN remixes are always an interesting listen for the versatility the vocals hold. MiMOSA gives Trap a good name, if the genre has any chance of survival at this point, his example is the one to follow. Also check out MiMOSA on his Future Trill tour this fall, going from september all the way until the end of November. Tickets on sale soon. Dates after the jump.

Hip-Hop | Ab-Soul – Nibiru (Prod. by JMSN)

Posted by on August 16, 2012

It’s a rare moment to hear this level of awareness being conveyed to this demographic. A track like this comes less often then Nibiru transits. Ab-Soul made the entirety of the track quotable, and JMSN came through with a quality beat. I breathe this knowledge, and it feels like yesterday I was tuned in to the live radio show at the end of this track. I appreciate the lyricism although certainty of any kind bothers me. You know some thoughts and words, me too! Imagine it’s all fiction if that helps. Thanks goes to Anu.

RnB | JMSN – Alone (Kastle Remix)

Posted by on June 15, 2012

First played on Skream & Benga’s BBC Radio 1 show, Kastle just released this today and wow. This remix is pure sex, his tweaking of the beat made this a true bedroom track. JMSN has that smooth Weeknd style that everyone loves to love to. This is the track you want to play later tonight.
