Mashups, Techno | Techno Mashes

To be honest I’ve struggled to bring our fan-base some signature “hardbody beats” in the past few months. I’ve almost forced a couple on everyone but ultimately decided against it. This gym-tested mash of Rude Boy and Last Resort will take you that extra mile or rep, I guarantee it. This is definitely an obscure combination but for some reason it just works so let us get your ears wet with this one.

The authors of FNT have a peculiar attraction to the DJ’s From Mars. If one of us passes up a new track by them (whether intentionally or not), the next guy seems to post it. I’m just solidifying this pattern in both writing and practice. Below is yet another mash of two filthy tracks with some of the signature DJ From Mars sounds.

Hip-Hop, Techno | California Gurls Remixes

Girls from California rarely bore me so it’s fitting that this song doesn’t either. Like your ideal CA chick, this track is constantly being made over and outfitted with new smoking-hot attire. I’m not going to lie, finding a version thats sexier than the ones posted below will be extremely tough. Both the B.I.G x Katy Perry and the 80’s disco sounding Armand Van Helden versions are FILTHY.

Here’s the latest from Chi-Town legend NaPalm. Looking forward to the free mixtape dropping July 20th which will include 15 free tracks. Everyone on Ustream (shouts to Senor Fresh w/ Fresh2death Daily) caught another up and coming banger called Get It In which is straight up filthy. Looking forward to seeing NaPalm continue to blow. Considering their talent, it wouldn’t surprise me if these mash up masters were from mars. But seriously, they always put a unique spin on their tracks and after following their music for several months, I have yet to hear a boring beat. Daniel Steel is another mash up “master” whom I’ve recently discovered. I love the fact that he created a filthy remix to Day N Night that trumps the countless others I’ve heard (call me crazy but I think I prefer his to the crookers remix). To me thats like giving the town bike a make over that makes every guy want her despite possible “issues”.

Albums | Featured Artist: Machine Gun Kelly

It’s refreshing to see the increasing number of passionate, talented, and fearless white rappers emerging in the hip-hop and rap scene. If you’ve been searching for Twista’s white counterpart, look no further because Machine Gun Kelly is your man. Although we posted his collab with Rock City several months ago, we completely missed the ball on this Cleveland All-Star. In his mixtape “100 Words and Running”, this aptly titled artist flexes his rapping muscles by flowing over several well known beats. By utilizing original hooks and inventive verses that leave your ears begging for more, MGK completely transforms the original works into unique songs. It’s quite evident that he’s been around for some time because his advanced spitting techniques never lull the listener.
