Ok so I brought those 13 year old kids playing Cafe Mambo yesterday and today I bring you an EP that has gone number 1 on the iTunes charts in Netherlands from a 14 year old Dutch kid. He is signed to Armada Records. The E.P. uses a whole variety of different sounds, from piano leads to darker synth sounds and some trance-house, displaying already the musical variety this kid and how good a producer he is. This kid is absurdly talented and he is really smart too, currently taking physics at the oldest technical university in Holland. All I can say is wow and look out for this kid to destroy clubs, festivals in the very near future. Support him and buy his E.P on beatport HERE.

Dubstep | Knife Party News, Flume, Xaphoon Jones, and DREKKEN

I finally gave into twitter, Im ashamed of myself, but it has turned out to be quite useful. Follow me Machbeats. Knife Party updated their twitter today with the announcement of a new EP (SHM please take notes on what a real announcement is). It is titled ‘100% No Modern Talking,” and will consist of 4 tracks, Internet Friends, Tournquet, Fire Hive, and Back To The Z-List. They plan to release the EP on Beatport and iTunes, but also stated that they will make the EP available FREE where ever possible. No word yet on the release date.

These next two remixes from Flume and Xaphoon Jones aren’t your usual dubstep styled tracks. Flume kicks it old school in a way with his style being nothing short of the coolest. Xaphoon, a little late on the Lights remix, starts it at a slow BPM, only to drop in with some faster BPM, indie vibed dubstep.

DREKKEN is one of those artist no one knows about. Those you that have listened to his tracks before know he is the s#!t. I like a lot of his trance/dubstep tracks, its a rare thing to find an artist who can pull that blend off. This track has been out for a bit, but I figured the people need to hear this hot remix.

Berklee College’s own De-Lor hits us with his latest single, in which he recently performed live on the streets of Boston. The single itself, “Beautiful Life”, will appear on his upcoming EP, J’adore, set to drop October 1st, which will also feature guest spots and remixes from Kinetics & One Love and Sex Ray Vision. Per usual, De-Lor provides very eloquent vocals and real meaningful lyrics. Ladies, I know you’re feeling this slow jam, but don’t be a fool to think De-Lor won’t bring some electro heat in the very near future.

As one of the first blogs ever to post Timeflies, we have had the gratifying opportunity to watch and aid in their growth. Over the past year, this duo comprised of producer Rob Resnick and Singer/Rapper Cal, have worked tirelessly in the pursuit of their passion. Their highly anticipated EP titled The Scotch Tape represents the culmination of months and months of hard work, and after your first listen I am convinced you will see why we are so excited about this project. Dubstep | Swedish House Mafia & Knife Party Preview, Gemini Preview, & Mau5trap Freebee

Middy posted the Swedish House Mafia Essentials mix just a few days ago, but Knife Party just uploaded this to their youtube page. For those of you that don’t know, Knife Party is the side project of the duo from Pendulum, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen. It is a little funny how much more popular Knife Party is becoming over Pendulum. There is no set release date of this epic collaboration, but it always a good thing once artists post up studio quality somewhere.

Yet again with Swedish House Mafia’s name present, is an upcoming remix from Gemini, cut straight from his Kmag Mix. Everyone remembers the sax man, well this isn’t him, but I would go as far as saying as this track is just as awesome. Skrubz is secretly a favorite of mine, most of what he releases is awesome.

There has been an great amount of of these melodic dubstep tracks being released. xKore made absolute art of Nutronic’s “Run Away.” I am also really glad the first good remix to be created from Porter Robinson’s new album is from At Dawn We Rage. They are really moving up fast, after a great EP that dropped only a little while ago, I have no doubts in their rising popularity.

Noisia should be a household name by now, if you have no idea who Noisia is…well shame on you. Noisia has been on a roll lately, this remix is a perfect example.
