Atlantic Connection has put together an EP of great songs of is and has released it as a free download. The EP contains 5 songs that range from chill R&B/Hip-Hop beats, to extremely chill ambient jams. His music is soulful and puts out all around feel good vibes. The project showcases his production strength and range, as well as being an entertaining listen. Fans of Grimblee, MiMoSA or the like should eat this up, but I highly recommend that regardless of your musical taste you at least give the 10 minute sampler of the EP (below) a listen.

One of the most musical and compositionally gifted producers in dance music now, Andrew Bayer has served up a three track EP for your ear drums and they are delighted. “If It Were You, We’d Never Leave“, remains my favorite album this year and one of the most popular selections “Need Your Love”, got a club mix to translate its beauty to the club setting, which it did without losing any of the original elegance. “England” was the gem of “Anjunabeats Volume 10“, and now we have the full copy in all of its glory. First premiered at TATW 450 in Bangalore, “Detuned” is a glitchy, dubstep track that shows departure from what we normally get from Bayer, but still remains true to his sound.

Here is some chill music for your Sunday. Isoline absolutely takes your mind on a journey with this remix of “People Help People” by Ruth Granton. It’s part of her “People Help People EP” featuring two other remixes and the original track. Isoline’s version is by far my favorite. It’s mellow, soothing, and the vocals are killer – everything you want in an ambient track. Check out the EP on iTunes!

In honor of hitting the 50k mark on Facebook, LA DJ duo gLAdiator released their VIP EP, a 3-track selection of some of their most popular tracks, tracks that you’ve probably heard at every music festival and block party this summer. Although it’s brief, each song varies enough to keep you on your toes for the release of their actual, official EP. The M1 Stinger track is dope though, probably my favorite out of the three. Electro | Apollo – Can You Feel It

I, like my blog brother Joe Salzer, specialize in posting hiphop, but do have the capability to notice a good EDM song when it slaps me across the face. And, boy, did “Can You Feel It” give me a solid backhand to the jaw bone. I’m a sucker for vocal cuts and when I heard virtually the entire song filled with some entrancing female pipes, I was instantly hooked.
The production was synth-filled, poppy, and overall a great time to listen to. “Can You Feel It” will be featured on Apollo’s upcoming five-track EP, and if this is any indicator of what is to come, I am more than excited!
Apologies in advance for butchering any of the EDM terms that I used. I’m trying my best to learn, bear with me.

Anyone dismayed by the news about Dog Blood’s upcoming EP getting delayed until August 20th should head immediately to the duo’s Soundcloud page, where Middle Finger Pt. 2 can now be streamed in full (well, almost in full; there’s a Trapmasters remix of the titular track that doesn’t appear to be up yet). Most of this should sound familiar — between festival sets and Skrillex’s recent BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, it’s likely that you’ve heard “Middle Finger Pt. 2,” “Chella Ride” and “Shred Sled (Kill ‘Em With The Beat)” before. Also of note: a typically great M Machine remix of “Middle Finger Pt. 2” that gets positively savage. House | AC Slater & Anna Lunoe – All Night

I am generally pretty skeptical of covers, especially taking songs into different genres, but AC Slater & Anna Lunoe nailed it. It is more of a remix / cover, then a pure cover, since it only takes bits and pieces of the original “Power Trip” from J Cole & Miguel. The track takes a simple vocal motif, spins it into new light with Anna Lunoe seductive voice and adds an irresistible groove, with a mixture of deep and bright synths. It is free, so just get it now. He is also a part of Jack Beat’s upcoming remix EP, coming next week, so preview that below.
