What a way to kick off Saturday night. The Frim comes through with this funky remix to an all time classic of Daft Punk’s Robot Rock. He turns this Electronic remix upside down, and gives it a nice grimy feel at a mid-tempo speed. This is a just a taste of what is to come on his EP this week, more specifically Nov. 20th. I’m sure you guys have already heard me blab about how I am not the biggest fan of the Trap movement, but I am fan of a great track. Which is what brings me to posting this latest track that was just featured on the Trap-A-Holics mixtape, that can be downloaded through the link provided on his Soundcloud Description. This track is bouncy and mean at the same time adding an Electronic spin to this Trap take on the Biggie Smalls sampled lyrics.

Alex Metric’s three song EP “Ammunition” utilizes an eclectic mix of Electronic elements for some dope beats. Right from the beginning, “Rave Weapon” brings a pulsing bass perfect for nights raving in Kazantip (a 30 day rave in the self-proclaimed hedonist capital of the world). If you’re trying to bust a move “Anybody Else” is your track. The final song, “Epichords” has uplifting synths then breaks down into electronic madness two minutes in.

Megaclown’s first of three EPs to drop this month, he says it’s ‘Glitch Instrumental Drum & Bass.’ Each track is set out to do one thing, portray emotion in one way or another. This really is a work of art, Megaclown has shown us his many sides, dubstep, filth, drum & bass, electro, house, and now this. My favorite tracks off of this are Outlander, You Found Me, and For Love. His next two EPs set to drop are Happy Clown and Sad Clown. The goal of each one of his EPs to is to show people the many different sides Electronic music has to offer, and I have no doubt he has mastered them all.

Electronic producer and recent New Orleans transplant, Swiss Chriss, teamed up with rapper G-Easy for the track, “Nose Goes.” DallasK brings added filth to the song, transforming it into an absolute banger.

Diplo is a bit late with his remix of Sleigh Bells’, “Tell Em.” He seems passionate about the duo, though. In a statement made to fans, Diplo said, “…Their [Sleigh Bells] last album was one of the sickest of ’10…It’s soo sick, it gave me a stomach ache.” He then explained why the remix was delayed: “I started this mix for them like a year ago but it took Derek about 6 months to send stems so it was kinda in remix limbo but I really wanted to get it out to u guys cause I think the bass and the drums sounds nice and you can play it at your next party.”
