Electronic | Crankdat Shines on Debut Solo Single ‘Dollars’

Posted by on August 25, 2017

In just two years, Crankdat has toured three continents and raked in over 150+ million streams. During that time, he has only released bootlegs, official remixes and a few collaborations…until then. The super talented 20-year-old now delivers his debut solo single, “Dollars”, and bets big on a vibrant melodic sound. And in our opinion, Crankdat wins big too. While “Dollars” is a departure from his heavy, floor-rumbling trap and dubstep style, he finds the perfect medium between festival banger and pop radio that makes you want to jam and go hard at the same time. The young gun recently signed to Asylum under Warner Music Group and seems to be making big moves with the recent announcement of joining Krewella on tour as well. The hype is real. Crankdat is here to stay and is just getting started. Enjoy his new song “Dollars”!

His latest is an official remix for none other than Matoma who has been crushing the Spotify game with his sun-kissed singles like “Girl At Coachella” with MAGIC! and featuring D.R.A.M. There’s a lot of hype around this kid, but each time he puts out a new track he seems to justify it and then some. He dishes out two styles in his “Girl At Coachella” remix, delivering a bass-fueled drop to lead things off before giving fans a melodic second drop to cap it all off. Well done Mr. Crankdat.
