Well folks…Crankdat is at it again with another monster of a track. If you’ve been keeping tabs on the 19-year-old, he’s been dropping a brand new “re-crank” every other week. Lately, he’s been remixing some iconic throwbacks like Swedish House Mafia’s “Save The World” and Porter Robinson’s “Unison“. His latest release is a hybrid rework of DJ Fresh’s single “Louder”. His latest release is a heavy bass-fueled remix of Porter Robinson’s classic tune, “Unison”. Ohio DJ/producer Crankdat has been on a tear this year. Whether he’s unleashing remixes, VIP mixes or re-cranks, dance music listeners are always in for a treat. His style spans from trap to dubstep to bass house to future bass, emphasizing his versatility as an artist. His latest cut is a catchy, pop-driven remix of Lil Yachty’s “1 Night”. Today, we’re excited to show you Crankdat’s take on the original record, ‘I Want You to Know’ by Zedd and Selena Gomez. The Ohio-based producer flips the radio-friendly track into a hard-hitting trap banger, but then switches it up with a melodic future bass drop in the second half of the production. It’s clear that this young artist has to production chops to make waves in this scene and only time will tell whether or not he’ll be able to separate him from the pack.
