We’ve been keeping our eyes peeled on his twitter account & it looks like you can expect some big collabs from Dotcom in the near future. When looking for amazing melodies and production, look no further than Pegboard Nerds. Having teamed up with the rising star Tristam and the guys over at Monstercat to release this amazing Mid-tempo track, there is no stoping them. Their tracks are so unique and well produced its hard not to be addicted to their style and aggressiveness. Approaching almost the halfway point in the year, if I were to say there is one artist to look out for in 2013 it is undoubtedly the Pegboard Nerds. Nothing but quality comes from this duo and it is all inspiring work.

Passion Pit - Carried Away (Dillon Francis Remix)Dillon Francis has been a generous man recently. First he gave away his “Suit and Tie” remix for the multi-talented Justin Timberlake, and now he is giving away his remix for Passion Pit‘s single “Carried Away“. Whether it was an issue with labels and release dates, or he just had a I.D.G.A.F.O.S attitude and wanted to give away free music because cats, internet, DJ awareness, taco bell, paypal and stuff, we are not complaining.

This remix displays the versatility that Dillon Francis continues to show with each production, bringing the track down to a 112 BPM moombahton tempo and then adding an acid fueled bass line that meshes quite well with the slowed down pace of the track and the indie vocals and style of the original. Passion Pit has been a popular band to remix, garnering remixes by styles ranging from trap to dubstep to electro house and this one from Dillon Francis has to sit near the top of the list for not only them, but also among his illustrious list of remixes as well.

Moombahton | La’Reda – Guns Drawn [FNT Exclusive]

La’Reda is back at again with another exclusive for you guys. These guys have just been cranking out track after track for their fans and they’re all amazing! This track is probably one of my favorites from them, because of the different genres and styles they incorporated into this one track all work so well. They took their heavy trance and electro background and fuzed them into this crushing Moombahton track. The melodies and chord progressions are outstanding alongside the 110BPm tempo and four-to-the-floor kick, which becomes a moombah kick-snare later on changing the whole feel of the track and giving it more swing. These guys have big things in store later on this year so be sure to keep an eye out for them. I literally could not wait for the release of this EP. KillSonik has done nothing but blow my mind on what type of artists they are to be known as. The duo kicked off the EP with a filthy Moombahton track, “Where The River Runs Black.” I never would have guessed that they would drop in a moombahcore track, let alone end up loving it. The first Dubstep track “Walrus” has had my mind going in spins the past few days. I enjoy the mellow intro that breaks into spooky synths, building up to an epic drop that I will forever relate to the mighty Walrus haha. “Slaughterhouse” is by far my favorite track of the EP. It is everything I hoped to hear from KillSonik in terms of a Dubstep track. Close behind in second though, “Je Te Veux” turned out to be the best surprise. When I found out the track was Electro-House, I was instantly excited to listen. To my enjoyment, this track owns face. Every expectation I have had over the past few months building my impatience was every bit worth the wait. KillSonik delivered.
