Albums, Electro, Hip-Hop | The Madden Brothers – Before Volume One [Mixtape]
Posted by LoffyG on November 12, 2011
Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte just dropped a mixtape with some pretty decent features. They linked up with artists such as Kreayshawn, Casey Veggies, Wiz Khalifa, Machine Gun Kelly & Tayyib Ali. The brothers said their main goal was to just have fun and be creative. I like the sound of this project it has a variety of different styles. It’s worth a listen.

Hip-Hop | One Spliff – Wiz Khalifa f. Malik MD7, S.A.S. & Calliko
Posted by GMONEY on November 9, 2011
Here’s a new smoker’s anthem from Wiz Khalifa and his boys, Malik MD7, S.A.S., & Calliko. Wiz’s verse is reused from Calliko’s track, Whip It All, but is much better suited for this hip hop reggae infused track.
Hip-Hop | B.o.B., Wiz, Sean Kingston & Nicki Minaj

B.o.B. keeps the wheel’s rolling with another release, this time giving us a visual treatment for “Fucked Up”. I’d guess this track is coming with the album since a DL was not offered up with the video, but it could also find a home on the presumed mixtape set to be released prior to the album. Shot by Motion Family, Bobby Ray and Playboy Tre sample I Blame Coco’s single, “Control”, and make their way to Asia for some colorful visuals.
Here’s another freestyle from Wiz (his second of the day), this time going in over Meek Mill & Young Chris’ “House Party”. Not as hot as his freestyle over Wale’s “Bait”, but still new Wiz.

Sean Kingston appears to be live and well, ready to drop his newest single…well, almost. Here’s the unfinished leak of his new joint with big booty Nicky. Sounds like a J.R. Rotem produced beat to me, sampling “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”. Looks like Nicky hasn’t laid down her verse yet, but I’m sure once this song is finished it will be eating up the radio.
P.S. Should have got Young Simba Cole on this track.

Hip-Hop | T.I. ft. Pharrell – Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Unreleased Wiz Khalifa
Posted by GMONEY on October 19, 2011
Yesterday T.I. paid a visit to Funk Master Flex in New York to drop a new track on Hot 97 featuring Pharrell. Among other things T.I. also talked about possible album titles and promoted his new book Power & Beauty. Word is that T.I. and Skateboard P have been collaborating in the studio quite a bit so keep a heads up for more tracks from this duo.

We’re not too sure where this track came from, but word around the blogosphere is that this is an unreleased track from Wiz Khalifa from 2004. That would explain why it doesn’t sound so much like him.
Hip-Hop | Wiz Khalfa & Snoop Dogg – French Inhale

Wiz Khalifa, Posner, and Snoop all on one track? Hmmm couldn’t help but to post this. This is sort of like a “suicide” soda drink, it definitely wont be for everyone, but I’m sure it’ll be intriguing enough to make you try it at least once…

Electro | Wiz Khalifa – This Plane (Viceroy Jetlife remix)

A producers ability to completely reinterpret a track such as Wiz Khalifa’s “This Plane” never ceases to amaze me. I never would have imagined an up-tempo summery beat like this would sound so sweet with Wiz Khalifa on the vocals. Close your eyes, kick back, and let this jam take you back to the best moments of your summer.

Hip-Hop | Chevy Woods ft. Wiz Khalifa – The Cookout
Posted by GMONEY on September 25, 2011
Here is the latest project from the Taylor Gang duo, Chevy Woods and Wiz Khalifa. I’m not sure as to why they wouldn’t push this as a collaboration mixtape, instead of just a Chevy Woods project with a bunch of Wiz Khalifa features. They are probably trying real hard to push Chevy Woods for some more popularity. I get why it is called “The Cookout,” because if you are baked, it is perfect for you. Below are previews of my favorite three tracks.
