Really into this one. Post Malone is one of my favorite recent stars to rise to fame, so he get’s remixed a lot in this scene but not like this and it tends to be his bigger hits. Canadian production duo Wet Paint’s take on “I Fall Apart” is a breathe of fresh air, from the trapped out, heavy synthesizer filled chorus drop, to the more calming verses that are almost ambient aside from Malone’s perfect vocal. The boys over at Wet Paint are back. Canada’s finest funkmaster’s return with another fresh treat, this time remixing Jhené Aiko’s ‘Spotless Mind’. Wet Paint usually embrace a futuristic bassline and integrated jazz-friendly instruments to craft what I believe is their signature sound. This time they’ve established a completely new atmosphere.
