Truly-Yours-J_Cole

It’s been awhile since we’ve last heard any new material from J. Cole, so in light of that he just released this 5 track EP of unreleased material. This is what he had to say:

I appreciate you giving me the time I needed to grow, experiment, and find the direction for my 2nd album.. And I have.
Along the way I’ve recorded at least 4 albums worth of material, lots of it being unfinished demo versions waiting to be polished up, some of them are great songs and important stories that just won’t make the album (either they don’t fit Sonically, don’t fit Theme, or there’s just not enough space) .

Tonight, I want to give you a few of these songs because you deserve them. It’s hard as fuck for me to keep all this music from you for so long, so I know it’s been hard for you to wait. Thank you for your patience. Vibe out to these songs in their raw form, no polish.. just a lot of my soul..

The wait is over.
Truly Yours,
Born Sinner

He also announced that his album “Born Sinner” is ready, claiming it’s his best work yet. The first single is set to release this week. Until then, sit back and listen. You can download the full EP and preview the last 4/5 tracks below!

Hip-Hop | Mike Stud – Perfect for Me (Prod. Julkeyz) [Music Video]

I present to you the first video/single off Mike Stud’s upcoming project, which is slated for a release in the near future. It has been a minute since we’ve got an all original track from Mike and I’ve got to say I’m diggin’ it. I think that many people in our younger generation can relate to a song like this. After getting a small taste of what the project has to offer, I’m looking forward to hearing more. Shout out to Jon Kilmer for this great set of visuals. Its second release of the year, Steve Angello’s Size Records has outdone itself once more with this etheral release from Brighton native, Tim Mason. The UK producer who has already released hits like “The Moment” and “Anima” provides us with yet another top flight single. It has been quite a while since we heard something from Tim Mason, but as usual from the Size camp where quality tops quantity, the wait is going to be worth it because the product will not sound like some drivel churned out in a few hours. Tim Mason puts together a well layered melody with sublime synth chords, a simple yet effective arp and a slow, rolling bass line in his inaugural release of the year and one of his strongest to date.

Dubstep, Electro-House, Moombahton, Review | KillSonik – Where The River Runs Black EP

KillSonik - Where The River Runs Black EP

I literally could not wait for the release of this EP. KillSonik has done nothing but blow my mind on what type of artists they are to be known as. The duo kicked off the EP with a filthy Moombahton track, “Where The River Runs Black.” I never would have guessed that they would drop in a moombahcore track, let alone end up loving it. The first Dubstep track “Walrus” has had my mind going in spins the past few days. I enjoy the mellow intro that breaks into spooky synths, building up to an epic drop that I will forever relate to the mighty Walrus haha. “Slaughterhouse” is by far my favorite track of the EP. It is everything I hoped to hear from KillSonik in terms of a Dubstep track. Close behind in second though, “Je Te Veux” turned out to be the best surprise. When I found out the track was Electro-House, I was instantly excited to listen. To my enjoyment, this track owns face. Every expectation I have had over the past few months building my impatience was every bit worth the wait. KillSonik delivered.

Chill, Hip-Hop, Mixtapes, Rap | Jetpack Jones – Afterburners 3 Mini Movie (FNT Exclusive)

Posted by on January 22, 2013

FNT favorite and frequenter Jetpack Jones drops off his longest video to date. Being the fact that it’s quite literally a mini-movie, it spans 7 and a half minutes, but they’re an enjoyable 7 and a half minutes. Jetpack and a few of the homies that will be featuring on Afterburners 3 all star in the movie. The music is on point, my favorite track being the old school sample one that happens after the first encounter with LB, who’s clowning on a statue in King park. Jetpack Jones is the only rapper I know who has been consistently releasing good music for the past two years, and if this is any indication of what his next project will be like, then I can’t wait. Compilation | The Betchiest Male Friendly Compilation of Songs: Part 1

Posted by on January 11, 2013

Okay, so I’m the last to post my compilation, but good things come to those who wait just look at the Virgin Mary she held out and and then she popped out a messiah. My songs are probably at that level and by probably, I mean they are like the next coming good. These are the songs that you casually put on right after you have your friends attention and there like “Bro, these songs are hella tight” and you’re like, “What? Yeah, its whatever.” These songs are the soundtrack to  buy a black v-neck, adopt a bengal tiger, call your shaman and throw a really chic party where you’ll probably get laid by a “new-age” girl AKA a huge slut. Ciao Betches.

The information has slowly been coming out about the expedition’s arrival to New York, but now we finally have some concrete info about the show and it could not be better. ASOT 600 makes it arrival in New York at Madison Square Garden, transforming it into palace of trance, much like when SHM turned it into a nightclub a year ago. We have waited 3 years since the last time ASOT was in NYC and with Madison Square Garden the destination, it was definitely worth the wait. Further info on lineup and ticket sales are coming soon, so stay tuned. Mark March 30th on your calendars and sign up for the pre-sale tickets below because this will sellout quickly.
