Dubstep | H.A.M (Amtrac Remix) and Blame Game (Calvertron Booty) | DUBSTEP

töken experience from yöyen munchausen on Vimeo.

Apparently this is where DJing is headed. Is this the right direction? Not sure, but it might make for an interesting show. The developer will come out with a version that’s compatible with ableton and serato in the near future. I’m looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Brothers From Another- No Shirt

BFA (one year anniversary) from Zac McConnell on Vimeo.

Since I’ve been away all weekend, I finally got around to checking my gmail this morning. As I turned down people left and right, slowly getting beaten down by the forces of musical mediocrity, I come across something genius in my inbox. I click on their site, come across their bio, and this is what I read.

It started at the beginning like anything else does. Just us living life with no sense of direction and an over heightened sense of wild abandonment.

To put things simply nothing ever happens unless you make it happen.

Finally, an artist with a concise dossier that holds your attention! Vuala! The video is directed by Zac McConnell and the track is produced by Justo. This is their official single off their upcoming EP, “Two Weeks Vacation” which does not have a release date yet. Although I don’t know much at this point, what I do know is that I’m looking forward to hearing more music from these polar opposites.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Chiddy Bang Freestyle

Posted by on September 4, 2010

Chiddy Bang – Translation Freestyle from Kibber Films/Jackpot in the West on Vimeo.

Chiddy Bang stopped by Jay-Z and Steve Stoute’s marketing agency, Transition LLC and spit a (actual) freestyle. Xaphoons on the keys and mixes that beat on the spot; these kids are so talented its ridiculous. Theres nothing more when I hate kids say they’re freestyling and they drop metaphors even drake couldn’t think of. You can hear him hesitate and flow with things in the room (steve stout, when the guy drops a coin, and steve stout) and then even ask for topics to rap with and still keeps it sick I’ve got too much respect for how sick this (actual) freestyle is, oh and he goes for 7 minutes by the way. (Shout out to dan bingyou aka Mr. Varsity)
