Philly duo Louis Futon may be still be arguably “new” to the scene, but their discography and social media following proves these boys mean business. They’ve got heaps of original releases in addition to a handful of remixes, each one varying a little bit in genre from the next. This delightful remix of Logic and Jhene Aiko’s “Break It Down” is, as the say, perfect for those summertime vibes. I hate to spoil this track by pointing out its similarities to Kaytranada’s style, so just think of it as Louis Futon’s own spin on that groovy feel.
On that note, you may have heard Louis Futon on Ta-Ku’s latest “Drive Slow, Homie, Part III,” in which case you should make note that track will be featured on their upcoming EP, still TBA. In the mean time, snatch this free download and toss it on your poolside playlist stat.

20 year old Nico Schinco hit me up out of the blue yesterday and asked me to check out his latest track “Sura,” which is readily available on Beatport for purchase, and to which he will be giving away all the proceeds recouped to the World Wildlife Fund. I happily obliged to his request a day after, and man this tune has vibes and melody for days! Trancy, progressive, tribal, these are just a few words to describe this sound, but you really have to hear it for yourself to grasp the aura of “Sura.” This is a must listen and support by copping this track NOW!

Folks, FNT is getting ready to invade WMC ’14 in Miami with an early morning flight out of New York, and I will be documenting my trip with updates of shows that I will be attending. The vibes of the day come from the great Sango with his chilled out remix of Janelle Monáe’s “What Is Love” off the Rio 2 soundtrack. I’ve had this track on repeat since I heard it, and the beauty of this record is that it sounds organic, from the vocals to the rhythm and harmony of the production, this is some good music! Them Academy boys are it again with their latest release “Closer To Me,” a catchy little ditty with sunny vibes, and a refreshing sound compared to everything else that’s out there. For a 2 minute and 30 second song it’s a true tease from what we can expect from these 2, and another reason for you to download it and play it on repeat. Other then the music, I have to applaud the guys for their songwriting, pay attention to their lyrics, these guys can write!
