Dubstep | Illenium – So Wrong

Posted by on August 20, 2014

I haven’t posted any dubstep in a while so I figured I better write this track up. “So Wrong” by Illenium is melodic dubstep done right. Chill and bass filled, this original is a great addition to your chill playlist. The melody will stay in your head long after you click play. The drums aren’t traditional for a dubstep track, but they sound great and give it a unique vibe. Scoop this track for free on Facebook!

Every now and then I’ll repost a track on my SoundCloud and forget to share it with you guys, but I’ve been holding on to this remix for too long, and it deserved a feature, my bad Tidlwav for the wait, and thank you for your patience! With that said, listen to Tidlwav’s remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Dead In The Water,” it’s a haunting, chills guaranteed record, and Ellie’s vocals are mixed perfectly to fit the whole vibe. I wish this track was up for free download, but I understand, so looks like I’ll just have to keep playing this on repeat on SoundCloud. This is a must listen!

Electronic, Indie | Kid Astray – Taking You With Me (Alizzz Remix)

Posted by on July 9, 2014

Alizzz’s official remix of “Take You With Me” by Kid Astray is packed with feels. This emotional remix is top notch and provides a nostalgic vibe. While remaining on the chill side of electronic, this track has enough speed and percussion to push it away from words like mellow. Alizzz is from Barcelona, and is currently on tour in Europe. Under Diplo’s label, Mad Decent, Alizzz just keeps dropping banger after banger. Grab this track for free if you’re feelin’ it.

DO SOMETHING

Electronic | No Limits – Timeless Into The Night

No Limits - Timeless Into The Night

There are few things as impressive as somebody driving an entry-level BMW, but No Limits certainly is. I even went as far as comparing them to Algeria, Africa’s largest country when I posted their prior release, “Another World”, a couple weeks ago. “Timeless Into The Night”, their follow up to that is vaguely similar in style, but has a more chilled out vibe to it. Amazing work done by the boys once again on this one.

The Bixel Boys’ latest original “Empire” is super fresh on that underground big room vibe and one you def don’t want to sleep on, because I have a feeling it’s going to be picked up by a lot of DJs because of it’s dark, big room festival appeal. There is something intriguing about this record, and refreshing as well, which I invite you all to check out. If you’re a fan of this track, look out for their new EP released on June 27th on Beatport! This is a must listen!

This one’s for the lovers, Pretty Pink just delivered a remix for U2’s “Ordinary Love” and it’s one you can lose yourself to the music. I personally just finished listened to it, and right now I’m left in a dream state, on some what’s next, don’t stop the vibe. This is my first time hearing of Pretty Pink, but I’m digging their nu-disco meets deep house feels. With 11 days left until it’s officially Summer, it’s safe to say that you can include this ditty in your playlist. This is a must listen and a must download!

Electronic, Trap | Banks – Drowning (The Ninetys Remix)

Posted by on May 23, 2014

Here is a new track from one of my favorites, The Ninetys, out on Trapdoor Records this time. The Ninetys remix of “Drowning” by Banks is a part of Trapdoor’s “3am Series” which releases “a track every Thursday to hypnotize & entrance for that late night zone out”. This track falls nicely into that description. The percussion is spot on, as usual with The Ninetys, and the trap vibe keeps it fun and exciting to listen to. According to Trapdoor, The Ninetys has a pile of music that is going to be released soon and I am beyond excited. As soon as the download for this track is released I will update this post, but for now you can stream the goodness below!
