Trance | Jaytech – Multiverse
Posted by Spice on December 12, 2012
With the full single package for the title track off of Jaytech’s recent artist album, Above & Beyond and the Anjuna team continue to prove that they’re willing to push the boundaries of trance. “Multiverse” in its original incarnation is a funky, deep house-inflected jam; the club mix maintains that sound and adds some heft to the bassline, while Audien brings in big, euphoric synths to the breakdown. Expect to see heavy support for this remix from other Anjuna artists — Audien is definitely one to watch in 2013. Rounding out the package is Russian up-and-comer Mimax, who gives the track a fresh, progressive vibe thanks to a new hook.

Hip-Hop, Mixtapes | Sir Michael Rocks – Too Late (Ft. Chance The Rapper)
Posted by dshaq on December 6, 2012
Well it’s been a while since I’ve given you guys some music, and I apologize for that, but this song right here will make up for it. Sir Michael Rocks enlists my guy Chance The Rapper for this very nice laid back track off his latest mixtape Lap of Lux 1.5, which you can grab below. A decent catchy hook but made up with very good verses from the two definitely makes this one a good cruising song. Smoke to it, vibe to it, cruise to it, but most importantly, enjoy it.
Trance | Ferry Corsten – Silfra
Posted by Spice on December 3, 2012
I’m not sure how this managed to fly below the radar. Inspired by a summer trip to Iceland and as a “thank you” to his fans, Ferry Corsten brings us “Silfra,” a melodic, progressive track that speaks to his roots as a producer. Trance fans will no doubt be pleased by the somewhat nostalgic vibe here — and the fact that it’s a free download. And if the album artwork is any indication, I think it’s safe to say that he’s captured the essence of the place. Check it out below.
Hip-Hop | Skizzy Mars – The Come Down

Finally, after months of waiting, we receive the first glimpse of Skizzy Mars’ highly anticipated mixtape Phases. Produced and featured by Conner Youngblood, the track has a nice relaxed and mellow vibe to it with some classic Skiz verses. Very interested to hear the rest of Phases, especially after this long of a wait.
Mixtapes | RAC – Solé Fixtape Vol. 3
Posted by Juicebox on September 18, 2012
The boys over at Sole Bicycles are back at it again with their third installment of their signature “fixtapes,” teaming up with the Portland DJ Duo known as, RAC. RAC creates a fresh, funky mix with a wide variety of tracks that mesh almost too well. Appreciate the approach they took with this one as it features tracks that stray from the mainstream norm of big room synth’s everyone and their grandmother are slapping together these days. Download the mix, check out the bikes here, and as Solé puts it…”Vibe with us as you ride off into the future.”
Hip-Hop, Videos | Ariez Onasis – Victim (Short Film)
Posted by Mach on August 20, 2012
“Victim,” produced by J. Cardim, released just a week ago and finally the short film music video is. The track itself is Hip-hop with a little Dubstep flowing through the background, with the addition of samples from Katy Perry. Ariez takes this one to the chest, pumping out incredible verses that slightly alter your perception of Hip-hop’s future. The video is nothing short of a cinematic masterpiece. The true life gangster vibe from the video is cool to watch, as I’m sure it was to film.
” The goal in mind for “Victim” was simply, to make a masterpiece. The One of One production team brought forth the treatment & I was sold. Coincidentally, I had a performance booked in Athens, Greece around the time. The final product took longer than expected, but exceeded our expectations none the less. I’m very proud to present this video to the public. It is only the beginning of what’s to come for Ariez Onasis. Until next time!”

Electro-House, Techno | Boys Noize – XTC (Original Mix & MMM Remix)
Posted by Spice on August 7, 2012
German legend Boys Noize has finally dropped his highly anticipated track “XTC,” which is hard-hitting, minimal electro at its best. Those repetitious and wonderfully robotic synths were tailor made to get you in the zone during the wee hours at a dark basement dance club (and let’s not forget about the vocals…). Included with this release is an even more minimalist techno remix from MMM, which augments the almost sinister, spacey vibe of the original. This is classic, underground-ready stuff that hints at Boys Noize’s acid house roots.
