Trance | Ferry Corsten – Midsummer Rain
Posted by Spice on October 7, 2013
In honor of reaching 900,000 fans on Facebook, Ferry Corsten has decided to dig into the vaults and release a track from 2004 for free download. This blissful, melodic 10 minute long epic is a great throwback with a pure trance vibe and is absolutely beautiful to boot. In Ferry’s own words: “Wow, 900.000 likes on my Facebook page! As a little ‘thank you’ to all of you, I decided to give away a special, previously unreleased track of myself. Back in 2004 I produced the track “Midsummer Rain”, especially for the “Infinite Euphoria” mix compilation. ‘Midsummer Rain’ was produced exclusive for this mix album and you can now download the complete, 10 minute version on my Soundcloud page for free! Thanks to all my fans for your support.” Check out “Midsummer Rain” below, and keep an eye out for Ferry in the coming months if you’re here in the US — he and Markus Schulz will be swinging through both coasts in November as the irrepressible New World Punx.

Chill, Trap | Gladys Knight – Grapevine (Mr. Carmack Remix)
Posted by J-Tiffy on September 16, 2013
Mr. Aaron Carmack seems like a cool dude. I’m a big fan of his music styles and of the way that he (like Deadmau5) has a Soundcloud profile dedicated exclusively to posting his unreleased tracks. On his profile you will find a whole collection of unreleased gems spanning many genres, many of them defying definition. A lot of his songs have trap influences and nuances; this track being one of them. He builds a great chill vibe around the old Gladys Knight original vocals. It’s a soothing tune all the way through, but when the keys come in around the 2 minute mark, you just can’t help but sink back into your chair and relax. He is giving this one away as a free download, so grab it and toss it into the running for songs that start your day or finish your night.
Preview, Progressive House | Henrix & Adrien Mezsi – Raverz (Preview)
Posted by Middy on August 29, 2013
Henrix has been busy touring this summer, so that has meant he’s been quiet on the release front, (if he wasn’t, well, then BT would have the answer for you). However, he has managed to find the time to come together with fellow Miami producer Adrien Mezsi, a guy who I have kept an eye for a while now, waiting for that spark to happen, and oh man did it happen. “Raverz” has been a part of Steve Angello’s sets since Tomorrowland, and you can expect that to continue well into the future. His people want it to be a mystery, but nobody’s being fooled here. Just like “Hit It”, this one is coming out on Size Records. When? Nobody knows, but for now watch the preview from Creamfields.
For all of our Electric Zoo attendees tomorrow in under 14 hours (ahhhhhh), Henrix will be playing MainStage west to start Saturday bright and early at 11:10am. So shake off the cobwebs and get there early to hear this unreleased jam, amongst other massive tunes dropped by Mr. Henriques.
Progressive House | Don Diablo & Matt Nash – Starlight (Could You Be Mine)
Posted by Middy on July 26, 2013
With “Reverie” still making waves worldwide, Axwell wastes no time and releases another track from his riches of unreleased songs, keeping the always impressive label on the tip of everyone’s tongues this summer festival season. This track from Dutchman Don Diablo & Scotsman Matt Nash is a tough, yet tasteful cut that uses gritty bass electro stabs, a sturdy bass line, distorted vocals and easy builds to provide a relief from the festival drops seen around the circuit these days. Look for an Otto Knows remix “rumored” to be coming later this summer.

Trance | Dash Berlin & Alexander Popov ft. Jonathan Mendelsohn – Steal You Away
Posted by Middy on July 22, 2013
Dash Berlin have been a master of vocal trance for several years now, and with this effort the trio prove that once more. Tabbing Russian trance producer, Alexander Popov, Dash Berlin’s two producers give us the big, uplifting melodies you would expect from them, with the genre blending sound known from Alexander Popov, all accentuated by a soaring top line from Mendelsohn. This is to be included in the upcoming deluxe edition of #musicislife, which has another unreleased track and some new remixes from Michael Brun and Andrew Rayel, among others.

Dubstep | Konec – Y2K
Posted by Sev on July 18, 2013
Konec has been a machine lately when it comes to releasing music. Unlike other artist who tend to sit on a track for months at a time, Konec holds no barred with his releases, which is a good thing in my opinion. Go ahead and classify this tracks genre however you want, for all I care you can call it neurotrapstep, but it is a quality tune. This fusion of multiple styles in one track is what gives it a flavor of its own and separates it from the rest. Konec seems to be starting this new trend of four to floor 140bpm tracks. Although we don’t see it in this track, if you check out the mix he did for BassCollective(linked below) you can definitely see it in his new unreleased stuff along with his released track ‘Railgun’ . Either way grab this free download along with mix from the links below.

Events, Videos | TommorowWorld Releases Trailer, Tickets still on Sale
Posted by Middy on June 19, 2013
It is old news now that Tomorrowland has expanded its reaches worldwide, first to the United States and possibly in the future to other parts of the world. The festival taking place between September 27-29 in Georgia has been slowly revealing its lineup, with names like Hardwell, Axwell, A-trak, Alesso, Ferry Corsten, Jamie Jones, Tiesto, Porter Robinson & Sebastian Ingrosso set to take the stage. They have just released the trailer for the festival, drawing on footage from last years Tomorrowland and using tracks from the official ambassadors, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, including two unreleased songs. Is it just me or does the last one “WeHa”, set to be the Tomorrowland anthem, sound awfully similar to “Wakanda”? Tickets are still on sale for a much more reasonable price than the $500 you will be dropping for GA at Ultra right now, so go ahead and purchase those now.
