22 days ago, fire was unleashed by the Herobust camp when he released a tight remix of ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ by Herobust. This week, he decided to throw some wood into the fire and release an original titled ‘Skurt Reynolds’. This track incorporates multiple styles including future bass, but there is a heavy presence of trap that we all know and love by Herobust.

Prince Fox has done a great job at making his unique sound heard throughout the blogosphere with his countless impressive remixes and his recent original “Wait Until Tomorrow”. The kid has been killing it as of late. His most recent remix is one of SNBRN’s “Raindrops”, which is an absolute jam with some extremely catchy vocals. Prince Fox takes a more futuristic trap route on this one and the result is killer. It brings such a big sound without sounding cluttered or overwhelming. Cop a listen and you’ll see that Prince Fox can really pack a punch.

Off the official OWSLA Carmada remix pack comes ‘Dr. Fresch’ with his genre busting remix of “Maybe”.
This progressively gets darker and teases you with what is to come after the drop. After the first breakdown as we approach the bridge; ‘Fresch’ mixes things up and goes into a slow melodic trap beat with 808 snares with a much softer synth. This unexpected beat change from the 4 on the floor house kicks to melodic trap, is the perfect way to gently move you on to another song…that is if you haven’t already hit replay.

It seems like ever since “Lean On” was released there has been a steady stream of remixes popping up on Soundcloud, and unfortunately when you remix a track like that you better know what you’re doing. Too often a producer will attempt to put their spin on a really popular song and it falls way to short of the original. Thankfully, we need not worry about that here, because Pusher has got us covered with his flip of “Lean On.” It’s everything you love from the original with just enough of Pusher’s touch to give the track a heavier trap feel without sacrificing any of the chill vibe. Diplo’s record label Mad Decent is about to make waves again with the recent release of their new ep “Control“. Featuring the up and coming 21 year old Miami based producer Ricky Remedy, the first track is sure to catch your attention and leave you wanting more. Ricky starts off with “Make Me”, a powerful trap banger boasting “ugh” as almost the only lyric. Don’t worry though, the lack of lyrics is made up for by the pure energy Ricky brings to the table. Not too long ago a mysterious DJ referring to himself as only marshmello found his way on to the FNT radar. We’re not sure who he is or where he’s from, but if he keeps doing what he’s doing it won’t be long till he’s on everyone’s radar. With a style the artist describes as “fluffy” and “sexy” marshmello is putting his own twist on house and trap. His latest song is yet another remix of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s “Outside”, but right from the start Marshmello was able to make this song his own and come up with a track you need to hear.
