It’s been a while since I’ve heard a decent electro-house track: with an industry that’s been somewhat over-saturated with trap and house, this banger is, ironically, pretty refreshing. Straight out of NYC, DJ Prime, the guy who bumped Martin Garrix’s “Wizard” out of the #1 spot on the Hypem Charts with “Big Room Bass,” just threw us a brand new track dubbed “Start A F***ing Riot!” When you turn up, be ready for some anarchy.

NJ producer Ravi B. hits us with a bootleg remix of Katy Perry’s Dark Horse, mixing Katy Perry and Juicy J’s poppy trap top 40 tune “Dark Horse” into an upbeat electro-house club rager. I had a chance to speak with Ravi regarding his latest remixes, and he’s been focused on making bootlegs for the radio, notably landing spins on NYC’s 92.3 Now, and Philly’s Wired 96.5 among others. Icona Pop singles have been getting some huge remixes lately. The “All Night” remix package tabbed the likes of Kyrder, Cash Cash & CID for remixes, but Atlantic Records goes even bigger on this batch of remixes for “Just Another Night”. The Swedish recently risen stars grab a whole host of big names from across the dance music spectrum to take full advantage of their very remixable vocals.
Kicking things off comes Dubvision who add their soaring progressive sound, while Marcus Schossow mold it into a playful housey tune. For a remix package this size, it would not be complete without a few trap heaters and Faustix & Imanos & Alex Young provide those.
