Returning to what made him great, Sammy goes in over Disclosure’s mega “You & Me” smash that’s reminiscent of his earliest work. Rapping, “Wizzy back, had a chance I’m yelling give me that, I can feel the summer approaching while you still skinny fat” Sammy floats effortlessly over the track with hungry bars and lyrical wit. Some might stipulate that Sammy Adams is officially back. I’d argue he never left. Sammy Adams. You & Me. Fire flames. Hat tip to the incomparable Val Pensa at RCA.

This post of Moodblanc’s latest release “Something” is way overdue, and I’d like to personally apologize to the Swedes. I’ve had this track on repeat since the minute they sent it to me, and I guess the music was so good, it made me forget to share it with all of you! Mixing 80’s pop with that popular nu-disco sound that has been making its rounds through out the internet, the guys manage to put together the perfect Summer record to take with you to the beach, or to sing to your lover channeling your inner Prince. Oh wow, for once those Facebook sponsored ads did work, and being the type of guy that listens to mostly everything that is presented to me, I read “…love Quilla’s vocals on the original track and I wanted to slow it down and give it a nice chill, tropical vibe” from Thero as he just passed 500 Likes on Facebook so I knew I had to press play. Remixing George Acosta’s “We All Get Lost Sometimes,” he adds the much needed sunlight the original needed blessing you on this glorious Sunday morning. This is a must listen and a must download!

Dubstep | Seven Lions – Worlds Apart EP

Whenever Seven Lions releases new music, you immediately stop what you are doing to take a listen. His sound is so unique, enthralling and well put together that every time you hear new something him it is a totally different experience. Recently signed to Universal’s burgeoning dance imprint Casablanca Records, which has artists like Tiësto, TJR, Martin Garrix and Chase & Status in its stables, Seven Lions was given access to top of the line topline writers like Ellie Goulding and Kerli.
All five tunes show the mastery of Jeff Montalvo and the hard work he has put in over the winter break he took from touring to focus on just making music. The aforementioned Ellie Goulding kicks off the EP, featured on the first track. It is fitting that someone whose career is largely owed to producers remixing her songs, Ellie Goulding, hopped on this EP to provide her instantly recognizable vocal talents to the trancy opening tune, “Don’t Leave”. Only “Strangers” is a previously released track, with each record having its own feel and sound, yet remaining true to the Seven Lions ethos. This may be his most complete EP to date and this will hold us over for quite some time as we know the perfectionist takes a while to release material.

Toronto based artist Nightizm has dropped a new free track for us this week, a remix of “In Vein” by Rick Ross ft. The Weeknd. This is an excellent late night track with a bassy, mellow vibe. Slow and emotional, this remix is top notch. A word I saw come up in the comments to describe it was “silky” and I think that is accurate. Warped vocals decorate the bangin’ bass and soulful melodies throughout the track. This beat is one to be reckoned with. If you like the “chopped and screwed” sort of sound, this track will hit the mark, and then some.

Pretty much any song with artwork like is destined for greatness. Just as good as its artwork is the song, featuring a refreshing twist on Cashmere Cat’s beautiful ballad, Wedding Bells. From start to finish, the song engages your ears incorporating different synths, chords, and even a steel drum, and who doesn’t love a steel drum? Now we know Chance is usually all hyphey and such with his music, but keep in mind he has a beautiful voice and he loves to showcase it. This is straight some Yung Lean SADBOYS ish but damn does Chance kill it. A soft smooth voice mixed with a very slow and pretty beat match up perfectly for this track.
