Dubstep | Infuze – Release Yourself EP
Posted by BP on June 4, 2014

With support from Datsik, Infuze released this EP today, fittingly titled “Release Yourself”. This three track monster is filled with dubstep and amazing vocals from Charlie Fox and Bailey Smalls. I love finding new dubstep gems, and with support from Datsik and a release on Firepower Records you know it has got to be good. My favorite track is the first, “Release Yourself”, because of the heavier sound, but they all are classics and each bring something different to the table. Grab it on Beatport.

This latest remix from Sebastian Carter of MORRT‘s “Be There” oozes sex, and I tell you those 90’s R&B vocals and that deep house bass are going to get you, like you’re waking up to a disco party. On the real, I like this track so much I’m going to request this track next time I’m at the club, and watch the whole dance floor lose it. If you haven’t noticed by now, it’s the summer of deep house, light and sexy, so get with it! This is a must listen and a must download!

House | Soma – Get Back With Him

I’m always on the hunt for tunes. It’s seldom I come across a song that makes me look up the artist and listen to their entire Soundcloud account. Soma did just that with his new “Get Back With Him” original mix that’s full of so many vibes. Sampling Trey Songz’s “Can’t Help But Wait” Soma transforms the track into a future house banger. If this doesn’t get you dancing, I don’t know what will. Tune!
Electronic | Mr FijiWiji, Laura Brehm & AgNO3 – Pure Sunlight
Posted by BP on May 29, 2014

Anytime Mr FijiWiji makes a track it always is fantastic, and same for his partners in crime on this one, Laura Brehm and AgNO3. “Pure Sunglight” is full of twists and turns to keep listeners on the edge of their seats. After a soft intro, the first drop explodes into speedy synths and interesting beats. The drops give an air of suspense and mystery as well. Following the smooth bridge, a more minimal drop follows and finishes out the song. Usually when I see Mr FijiWiji on a track I expect something more chill, so this was a fun surprise. Grab it on Beatport!
Progressive House | Third Party – Everyday Of My Life

Third Party are perhaps the most melodically talented artists at Size and they never disappoint with their productions, except for the fact that they don’t release enough of them. It has not been long since their impressive “Nobody To Love” remix and they have followed it up superbly. “Everyday Of My Life” is, not surprisingly, a melody driven song. It upholds the high quality of both the duos tracks as well as the releases on Size.

Electronic, Trap | Banks – Drowning (The Ninetys Remix)
Posted by BP on May 23, 2014

Here is a new track from one of my favorites, The Ninetys, out on Trapdoor Records this time. The Ninetys remix of “Drowning” by Banks is a part of Trapdoor’s “3am Series” which releases “a track every Thursday to hypnotize & entrance for that late night zone out”. This track falls nicely into that description. The percussion is spot on, as usual with The Ninetys, and the trap vibe keeps it fun and exciting to listen to. According to Trapdoor, The Ninetys has a pile of music that is going to be released soon and I am beyond excited. As soon as the download for this track is released I will update this post, but for now you can stream the goodness below!
Chill, House | THBD – Good For You
Posted by VMan on May 22, 2014
Call this one a throwback Thursday because it’s 5 months old, but man, I don’t care, this track has been under the radar for far too long, and today we change that. French producer THBD’s “Good For You” is another one you can proudly add to your Summer playlist. I hope you guys are taking notes, because these are the producers you will be hearing a lot more from in the next coming months, I guarantee that. Taking a gospel, 90’s R&B flow, “Good For You” is just as the title says it is, it’s good for you. This is a must listen and a must download!
